NTA will prescribe clear instructions to be followed by the candidates on the exam day. The advisory related to biometrics and other details is given below:

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre by 1:00–1:15 PM to complete frisking and biometric verification. Last entry is 1:30 PM.
  • Carry only Re-NEET 2026 Admit Card, passport-size photographs, and a valid original photo ID proof.
  • Prohibited items: Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, notes, books, handbags, jewellery, and eatables (except transparent water bottle).
  • Wear light-coloured plain clothes (preferably half-sleeves) and slippers/sandals for smooth entry.
  • Biometric verification (fingerprint/iris/face) is mandatory. If it fails due to technical reasons, candidates will still be allowed after manual verification.
  • Extensive frisking with metal detectors, CCTV surveillance, and jammers will be enforced at all centres.
  • Use only black or blue ballpoint pen for filling the OMR sheet. Rough work should be done only on the question paper.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam concludes at 5:15 PM.
