As per the latest updates, the Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025 registration will open in June 2025 after the results for NEET 2025 come out. Eligible candidates who have qualified for the NEET 2025 exam can apply for medical seats in Mizoram by registering on the official website - dhte.mizoram.gov.in. The entire counselling procedure will be carried out by the Department of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Mizoram.

For Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025, the seat allocation will be done under state quota reservations, so candidates from the state are given priority for claiming local seats in the government medical college to ensure transparency and fairness in access to medical education.

  • 85% State Quota: These seats are for candidates who are domiciled in the state of Mizoram. The DHTE will conduct counselling for admission under this quota at the state level.
  • 15% AIQ (All India Quota): The selected seats in the government medical college are subject to AIQ; some of them are reserved for students from other states and are filled through the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee).

Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025: Important Dates

The Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025 registration is tentative to start in the last week of July 2025 and is going to end in August 2025. The process is conducted by the Department of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Mizoram, through its website - https://dhte.mizoram.gov.in.

The announcement of the final merit list is expected to be in August 2025. Once the result is declared, it is expected that from the first week of August 2025, Round 1 choice filling for Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025 will be held. After publishing the seat allotment list of Round 1, Round 2 online registration will start from 3rd week of August 2025. Round 2 results will be declared by the 4th week of August 2025 and from last week candidates will be required to report at the reporting centre.

Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Mizoram with a valid domicile (for state quota).
  • Age: A candidate has to be at least 17 years of age at least by 31st December 2025. No upper age limit.

Step 1: Access the Official Website

  • Visit the DHTE 2025 portal : dhte.mizoram.gov.in
  • Proceed by clicking on NEET UG 2025 Counselling Registration.

Step 2: Create Login Credentials

  • Input NEET Roll Number, Application Number, and Date of Birth
  • Confirm through the OTP sent to your registered mobile and email.
  • Set an easy-to-remember User ID and Password.

Step 3: Application Form Filling

  • Fill in all required personal, academic, and contact details.
  • Do this for details such as NEET score, rank, and Class 10 and 12.

Step 4: Registration Fee Payment

  • General/OBC: ₹1000
  • SC/ST: ₹500
  • NRI: ₹10,000
  • Pay with Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  • Take a printout of the payment receipt.

Step 5: Submission of Form

  • Verify all entered details.
  • Never to be edited after clicking on Final Submit.
  • Download and print the confirmation page.

Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025 Fees

All the candidates will have to pay ₹950 as Mizoram neet counselling 2025 fees for registration. A late registration charge of ₹1250 will be applicable if the registration is done late. Refundable security deposits of ₹5000 shall be submitted by the candidates to whom seats have been allotted. Payment modes accepted are credit/debit card, net banking, UPI, and Paytm.

Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025: Counselling Process

  • Registration- Candidates apply online at the DHTE portal, providing their NEET and personal details.
  • Document Verification- Verification of documents is carried out as per the Mizoram NEET Counselling 2025 schedule.
  • Choice Filling & Locking (Round 1)- Candidates select and lock their choice of colleges and courses.
  • Seat Allotment (Round 1)- Seats are allotted according to merit and choice-filled during Round 1.
  • Reporting (Round 1)- The candidates allotted seats in Round 1 have to report to the respective colleges for confirmation of admission.
