AME CET 2027 Phase I is expected in the second week of May 2027. You currently have about six months from today to prepare. Here are the most effective strategies to maximise your score:

1. Start with NCERT for PCM

The AME CET PCM syllabus is based almost entirely on Class 11 and 12 NCERT textbooks. Most questions test conceptual understanding, not advanced problem-solving. Go through key NCERT chapters, focus on formulae, definitions, and in-chapter examples. NCERT should be your first and primary resource — do not jump to reference books without finishing NCERT first.

2. Focus on High-Weightage Topics

• Physics (80 marks): Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Modern Physics are the most frequently tested areas. Revise Newton’s Laws, Electromagnetic Induction, and basic Semiconductor theory.
• Chemistry (80 marks): Organic Chemistry (functional groups and reactions), p-Block Elements, and Physical Chemistry (Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry) are the highest-scoring areas.
