NEET Physics Paper Analysis

Paper Analysis for NEET Physics

In Physics, the most important topic is Mechanics and carries the maximum weightage. Topics that are included in Electrodynamics will offer students 9-10 questions. The difficulty level of this section will be higher as per the exam pattern. Maximum questions involved in this subject comprise lengthy calculations.

  • Most of the questions are from the NCERT syllabus, around 60% of the NEET paper to be precise.
  • Questions are asked from classes 11 and 12 equally on the topics namely- Mechanics and modern Physics accounting for around 50% of the section.
  • Questions asked on topics such as Magnetic Effect of Current and Current Electricity are usually easy.

Note: In order to meet NEET Cut off and qualifying scores, it is important that candidates must prioritize the topics carrying high weightage. The major topics from which the maximum questions are asked include Wave optics, Electrodynamics, Modern Physics, KTG & Thermodynamics, and Semiconductors.
