The seat allocation for Nagaland NEET UG Counselling varies for candidates based on the category to which they belong.

• Under the Nagaland State Quota 85 % of the total MBBS seats are reserved for candidates from Nagaland.
• Remaining 15 % of the seats have been reserved under the All India Quota and they are available to candidates from all other Indian states.
• Based on category-wise seat reservation, 80 % seats are reserved for ST candidates and 10 % seats are reserved for OBC and EBS candidates each.

NEET Nagaland Counselling 2025- Date Schedule – Tentative

NEET Nagaland Counselling 2025 process including document verification is expected to begin in 1st week of July 2025. The counselling notification is likely to be released within the first week of June 2025. After the counselling-related details have been released, the online counselling registration process will start. The last day for submitting the online application for counselling is most likely during the third week of June 2025.

The merit list will be published in the fourth week of June 2025. In the first week of July 2025 the qualified candidates will move to the second stage of counselling which involves choice filling and locking. The results for Nagaland NEET UG Seat Allotment 2025 Round 1 are expected to be released in the 2nd Week of July 2025.

As soon as Round 1 is over, from 4th week of July 2025 the Round 2 Nagaland NEET UG counselling 2025 registration will start followed by choice filling and Round 2 seat allotment result by end of 3rd week of August 2025.The Mop-up round is the final round of NEET Nagaland Counselling 2025 and it is expected to be held during the fourth week of August. How many MBBS seats for Nagaland?

Currently the Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR) is the only medical college in Nagaland. It has 100 MBBS seats available for candidates for admission purposes.

Apart from these 100 MBBS seats, there are state quota or central quota seats like inter-state agreements in which some of the medical college's seats have been reserved for Nagaland candidates.

Candidates can take admission in these colleges by applying through Directorate of Technical Education or Health & Family Welfare Department of Nagaland after qualifying NEET UG. These seats are different from the above mentioned 100 seats. These are extra seats offered to Nagaland candidates by other central institutions. This is because Nagaland has a limited number of MBBS seats so the Central Government and some state governments offer reserved seats in medical colleges across India for Nagaland candidates.

In order to be eligible for Nagaland NEET UG Counselling 2025, candidates need to fulfil the below criteria:

• Educational Requirement

Candidates are required to pass 10+ 2 with Physics, mathematics and Chemistry as their compulsory subjects. General candidates need minimum 50% marks and SC/ ST candidates need minimum 40% marks to be eligible for counselling. The minimum marks for PwD candidates is 45%.

• Domicile Requirement

Individuals need to satisfy the domicile criteria to be eligible for the counselling process. In order to qualify for 85% of state quota candidates need to provide their Nagaland domicile certificate.

• NEET Qualification

Candidates should have appeared and qualified NEET UG 2025 exam to be eligible for counselling registration.

• Age Limit

By December 31, 2025, candidates should be at least 17 years old to be eligible for counselling.

• Citizenship

Candidates must be Indian citizens only.

The Nagaland NEET Counselling 2025 process comprises different rounds that are organized by DTE Nagaland. Candidates must familiarize themselves with the process so that the counselling can go on smoothly and they can get MBBS admission. The process involves:
