The Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling 2025 is going to start in August 2025. Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, is the conducting authority of the Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2025 for the academic year 2025-26.

As per the provisional schedule released, the procedure starts with online registration and option filling in Round 1 between August 4 and August 10, 2025. This confirms the general 45‑50‑day lag following the NEET result announced in June.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling Eligibility 2025

Login and Registration

Candidates need to register for the AP NEET Counselling process 2025 through the official site for admission to 85% state-quota seats in MBBs and BDS courses.

Go to the official website of Dr. YSR Institute of Health Sciences
Click on the Online Registration link
Enter details such as NEET roll no, NEET Rank, DOB, etc
Submit by clicking on the Validate tab
Fill the Application form and submit
Note down the registration ID and Password for future reference

Choice Filling Process

Go to https://wbmcc.nic.in/
Click on the ‘Candidate Registration and Login’ link.
Enter NEET-UG 2024 Roll No., password and the security pin as displayed on the screen in the ‘Registered Candidates Sign in’ panel
The candidate’s dashboard will appear
Click on the ‘Choice Filling’ link.
Enter the password to start choice filling
Keep adding your choices by clicking the ‘Add’ button
Click on ‘Save and Go to Home’ when done.

Note: Use the links ‘Manage Filled Choices’, ‘Choice Interchange’, ‘Choice Rearrange’, ‘Multiple Deletion’ to arrange, move and delete the choices. Editing the filled-in choices is allowed as long as the Choice list is not locked.

Saving Choices

After the above-mentioned steps, candidates need to click on the ‘save’ button to save their overall progress during the application filling process. The choices filled will be automatically locked after the scheduled time of Andhra Pradesh Counselling. Following this, candidates need to enter an OTP and then click on the ‘confirm’ button.

Seat Allotment

The Seat Allotment of AP NEET Counselling 2025 will be based on NEET scores, rank secured in the state merit list, choices filled by the aspirants and the seat availability in the colleges. In case a candidate is allotted a seat, then he/she need to visit the college for confirmation of the seat.

AP NEET Round 1 Counselling

This AP NEET round 1 counseling will provide the first chance for NEET-qualified candidates to apply for MBBS/BDS seats in Andhra Pradesh. And the expected time will be around mid-August 2025.

AP NEET Mop-Up Round

The candidates will get a final chance to secure a seat through counselling if any seats remain vacant. And the expected time will be around Late September 2025.

Who can participate: The candidates who did not get a seat in earlier rounds, did not report, or are newly eligible (if permitted by authorities) can take part in this round.

Not eligible: The candidates who were allotted a seat earlier but didn’t withdraw their seat within the given time are not allowed to participate.

Mode of choice filling: The choice filling will be done online or offline, depending on the official instructions.

Stray Vacancy Round

This is the last round provided to the candidates to fill any remaining seats directly through universities. And the expected time will be around Early October 2025.

Who is eligible: The registered candidates who have not been allotted a seat in any previous round are eligible for this round.

Conducted by: This round is conducted by individual universities under the guidance of NTRUHS.

Seat allotment: The seats will be assigned strictly based on the merit list. No fresh registration is allowed.

Andhra Pradesh NEET Cutoffs 2025

Andhra Pradesh NEET Cutoffs will be released during the Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling process by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada.
