The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) starts NEET UG 2024 Counselling Round 2 registration on September 5, 2024. Eligible candidates can register online on the official website mcc.nic.in by logging in with their NEET UG roll number, password, and security pin. Complete the registration and fee payment by September 10, 2024. Round 2 choice-filling is open from September 6 to September 10, 2024. MCC will declare the NEET 2024 counselling round 2 seat allotment result on September 13, 2024.
MCC has declared the NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 seat allotment result on August 25, 2024. The last date for round 1 reporting was extended till August 31, 2024. MCC officially opened a window for candidates to resign their NEET UG Round 1 allotted seats. This opportunity is available from August 31, 2024 (2:00 PM) to September 3, 2024 (6:00 PM). Resigning within this timeframe will allow candidates to retain their security deposit.
Registration for NEET Counselling 2024 started on August 14th, 2024. MCC announced the revised counselling schedule at mcc.nic.in. The registration concluded on August 21st, 2024. The Counselling process will involve 710 medical colleges with 1.10 lakh seats. Additionally, there are 21,000 BDS seats and seats for Ayush and nursing courses.
Following a stray vacancy round, the authority will conduct the NEET 2024 counselling in three rounds. Separate registration windows will be opened for 3 main rounds. Candidates who have already registered before can participate in the stray round.

NEET UG Counselling 2024: Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Candidates need to pass class 12 in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) combination and English as a compulsory subject
- Passing Marks: You need to secure at least 50 % marks (40% for reserved category) in class 12
- Qualifying Score: To participate in NEET Counselling 2024, candidates need to clear the All India cut-off percentile.
- Age Limit: The minimum age limit for NEET is 17 and there is no upper age limit.
- Domicile: There is no requirement for a specific domicile for AIQ counselling. However, the domicile requirement may vary for state quota counselling.
Reservation of Quotas for NEET Counselling 2024

- 15% of MBBS/BDS seats are from participating states.
- Open seats at AMU.
- 15% of MBBS/BDS seats at ESIC medical colleges.
- Open seats at JIPMER (Puducherry/Karaikal).

- 15% of MBBS/BDS seats at DU/IP University (VMMC/ABVIMS/ESIC Dental).
- 100% of MBBS/BDS seats at BHU (Open category).

NEET UG Counselling 2024 Process
To participate in the NEET 2024 Counselling process you need to register through the official website. You have to pay the registration fee along with a security deposit. You need to select your choices from the provided list. You can change your choices within specified time and lock your final choices.
Based on your merit, choices and availability of seats you will be allotted seats. After the seat allotment you will have to report to the institution with required documents and admission fees.

Ans. No, stray vacancies are available for admission to all govt, private, and semi-government, Deemed universities.

Ans. A migration certificate during counselling is needed when students get admission to college from another college. But in my case, I do not need a Migration certificate because I am not getting admitted to a college from another college.

Ans. For that purpose, a bond certificate is needed for counselling. It is mentioned how much money you have to pay to the college in the bond certificate. It could be around INR 1,00000.
Ques. What is the purpose of paid counselling in NEET 2024?

Ques. From where does a candidate get the medical fitness form during NEET 2024 Counselling?
Ans. A candidate can get the medical fitness form from a registered MBBS doctor.
Ques. When should you pay the security fee during registration or admission?
Ans. In the NEET UG Counselling, registration and admission are two different things. You need to deposit the security fees to complete the registration. On the other hand, in the admission process, you have to pay security fees after visiting the college.
Ques. Is the Neet application/Confirmation page needed during Counselling? If someone made some mistakes there, what is the procedure to correct it?
Ans. The information bulletin of NEET UG 2024 is not published yet, so it is unknown if the application or confirmation page is needed or not. After the registration process for a few days, error windows will be opened to rectify the mistakes. And if you are not aware of it then we have nothing to do.
Ques. If a candidate made his/her domicile certificate last year, will it be applicable in NEET 2024 Counselling?
Ans. No, a new domicile certificate is required.

Admission in public dental colleges in India is highly competitve and the cut-offs are really high. The cut-offs are released for each category of students. I suggest you to please check the cut-offs for the top dental colleges in Maharashtra from NEET Cut-offs for Maharashtra.
Students of Karnataka interested to participate in the NEET 2022 Mop up round can register themselves from 2nd to 3rd December 2022. Please register yourself before the deadline.
With 175 marks in NEET, it is not going to meet the cut-offs for the top medical colleges. However, you can check the list of institutes that will accept the said NEET score using the NEET College Predictor. Please enter NEET rank, category and state to generate the list of colleges.
NTA has not released the NEET 2022 Counseling dates yet. To particiapte in NEET Counseling you must register for the same. You can read on the eligibility, procedure, documents required as well as other information from NEET Counseling.
The NEET counselling consists of 4 different stages. First stage is Registration for NEET Counselling, second stage is NEET Counselling Fee Payment, third stage is Exercising Option Entry and Locking while the final stage is Release of Seat Allotment Result.
NEET AIQ Counselling is conducted in 3 rounds followed by a stray vacancy round for vacant seats. The NEET Counselling will be conducted by DGHS on behalf of MCC for AIQ seats.
