NEET Correction Window 2024: How to Edit NEET Application Form?

Applicants often end up making mistakes in their NEET 2024 Application Form either due to inexperience, confusion, or hurry. Therefore, to ensure zero discrepancy in NEET application form, NTA provides NEET form correction facility to edit the submitted NEET UG forms.

NEET correction window is a one-time facility to make corrections, if any, in NEET Application Form. So, it is important to review all the details before final submission of the corrected NEET application form. Documents to Keep Ready for NEET Form Correction 2024

It is suggested to keep a few documents handy to verify the details and correct the NEET form easily. The important documents to keep ready (preferably a soft copy incase re-uploading is required) for NEET correction window 2024 include:

• Class X certificate for verification of personal details
• Category and disability certificate in case you need to reupload and/ or verify the category and PwD relaxation status.
• Initially submitted NEET application form PDF that you must have saved after completing the registration.

Steps for NEET 2024 Form Correction

Provided below are the steps for NTA NEET 2024 application form correction: 

• Step 1: Click on the direct link given on this page to visit the official website of NEET UG 2024- neet.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
• Step 2: Enter your NEET UG application number, password, and security pin as mentioned on the login page.

• Step 3: Now, you can correct/ edit the details in NEET form like gender, category, sub-category, language medium, and other details as allowed per the official NTA notification. 
• Step 4: Click on the preview option to cross-verify all the modified details that will be displayed in red colour. To proceed further, enter the OTP received on your registered email/ mobile number.
• Step 5: Click on the final submit button. A pop-up window will appear stating ‘NEET Form Correction is a one-time facility and no changes will be permitted after final permission. Do you wish to submit the corrected NEET form?’. Click on the ‘Yes, Please Do’ option.
• Step 6: After successful submission of NEET application form, a self-generated correction slip will be issued. Students are advised to print the receipt and retain it for future reference.

NEET Correction Window Fees

NTA does not charge any extra fee for NEET correction window, unless the changes you make affect your application fees. You can correct details like mother's name, father's name, exam city choice, academic details, and photo & signature images, with no extra fees. However, if you change your category from General to OBC/ SC/ ST/ EWS, then you have to pay the difference in the originally paid application fee.

Can I correct my category in NEET form?

Yes, you can edit your category during NEET application process 2024. It must be noted that NEET UG application fee is different for each category. So, you will have to pay the difference in the fee in case the changed category has a higher fee.

• The photo to be uploaded should be recent and not older than 6 months.
• The photograph background should be white. Photos with a black/ dark background will not be accepted.
• Avoid uploading images with hats/ caps or any other accessories.
• Signature should be done on a white paper with a black pen.
