Mar 7, 2024 10:14

Here are some tips for studying for the MHT CET:

  • Understand the syllabus and exam pattern

Before you start studying, make sure you understand the syllabus and exam pattern. The MHT CET syllabus includes four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

  • Start with NCERT books

NCERT books are considered the best for MHT CET preparation.

  • Study class 11 and 12 topics

Most questions on the MHT CET are based on the Standard 11 and 12 syllabus.

  • Solve mock tests and practice papers

Solving previous years' papers can help you understand how to attempt the paper and manage your time.

  • Revise

The MHT CET syllabus is vast, so you should set aside extra time for revision.

  • Start with theory

When you start a topic, first read the theory thoroughly. Then, look at some solved examples to understand how the concepts are applied. Finally, try some formula-based questions and then move on to more difficult numericals

Does 12th percentage afftecs while seat allocation in MHT-CET exam after we crack it with best score?
R
rency daniel
Mar 7, 2024 10:24

12th marks are not counted in the MHT-CET exam. The exam ranks candidates by their percentile score. 12th marks are only used as an eligibility criteria for the MHT-CET exam. For example, in 2023-24, entry to undergraduate professional courses in Maharashtra will be based on both Class XII scores and CET marks, with equal weightage.

What is buffer solution
R
rency daniel
Mar 7, 2024 10:26

A buffer solution is a water-based solution that resists changes in pH when acids or bases are added. Buffers are made up of a weak conjugate acid-base pair. For example, an acid-buffer solution contains a weak acid and its conjugate base.

Buffers are important for reactions and processes that require stable and specific pH ranges. For example, in the pharmaceutical field, biological buffers are used to maintain the pH value of essential drug components.

The type of buffer used depends on the desired pH. For example, a buffer can be made from acetic acid and a salt containing its conjugate base, the acetate anion.

Here are some examples of buffer compositions: CH3COOH+CH3COONa, NH4OH+NH4Cl
