Candidates are required to clear NEET cut off for University College of Medical Sciences. They must have NEET admit card and original certificates including score card at the time of Counselling. If two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the exam, preference is given to:

•  The candidates who have obtained higher marks in Biology/Bio-Technology in NEET
• The candidates who have obtained higher marks in Chemistry in NEET
• The candidates who have obtained higher marks in Physics in NEET
• Candidates with less incorrect responses in NEET exam.

UCMS Delhi Counselling Procedure

Candidates who qualify NEET are eligible for counselling for seat allotment in MBBS/BDS in UCMS Delhi. The counselling of a particular day will be closed after all the candidates have been counselled.

What if the candidate is waitlisted or not present at the time of NEET Counselling?

• The candidates who are present for counselling and are not offered any seat due to allotment of all seats before their turn of counselling, must be waitlisted and are required to submit their options with respect to course and college on the prescribed proforma.
• The candidates who are absent on the specified date of counselling are not waitlisted. The candidates who have not opted any seat at the time of counselling are also waitlisted.
• An undertaking is to be given by the candidate at the time of counselling to the affect that they have not pursuing MBBS/BDS courses anywhere in India. In case admitted/pursuing MBBS/ BDS Courses anywhere in India they are required to produce cancellation certificate from the concerned College/Institution within 4 working days from the date of provisional allotment of seat.

University College of Medical Science(UCMS) Delhi Admission Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for bagging a seat in India’s one of the top medical colleges, one should fulfil the below mention criteria.

• Age Limit- Candidates must be of minimum 17 years in age on or before December 31, 2024.
• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
• Academic Eligibility: A candidate who has passed his/her 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as subjects of study is eligible. The candidates must score minimum 50% marks in HSC. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates, the minimum percentage required is 40%. Physically handicapped candidates from general category must secure 45% marks.
