And the time you spend with your friends, it's quite underrated but yeah it is one of the best things!
Sports facilities are very good and also all of the clubs are also very good.

Dislikes

The hostel conditions are not good and needs to be improved.
Grading can be bit too strict and exams can be a bit too hard

I don't liked it I am in chemical engineering branch but they teaching biology, engineering mechanics which I don't like. I think only cs is prepare for real world application and inwould suggest to teach cs in all branch like not major but in minor as well as ai. Frequency and timing I liked

The curriculum is very relevant considering the current industrial requirements and helps you to be prepared for both real world applications and further academic pursuits. From +1 and +2 itself I am interested in what goes in chemical Industry and everything else. And also I got a rank such that I will get chemical engineering department in prestigious IIT Guwahati. Our department is well established so faculty student ratio is pretty decent. Exams were moderate to difficult and per semester 2 exams are conducted.Several minor tests are also conducted.

It's placements stats is quite good you know, one of the main reason why people want to come in IITs.
You can develop your personality here in various aspects like you'll confident enough to tackle your problems on your own.

Dislikes

Sometimes, the atmosphere around here becomes so toxic that you'll think of quitting IITs.
One more harsh reality that you'll have to handle a lot of mental pressure here, which sometimes some people aren't capable of and they do something which they shouldn't had done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

See, like I didn't chose this curriculum because I liked it but because of the rank I got in JEE ADVANCED, whatever was better for I went for that! After coming to college, I understood that this is quite good course and also faculties are quite helpful. Ahh the student ratio, it is around 3-4:1, speaking more about faculties, they have mostly studied from abroad and their teaching method is quite different from what you have been going through in your school and coaching centre, and the most important part exams, these were the nights where we engineers don't sleep much cause of the pressure of the examination, like we don't study on a regular basis so we have to study for whole night before exams and you can actually pass exam easily if you regularly attend the lectures and study for atleast 2 days beforehand examination.
