You will find most courses that are theoretical, abstract, and purely mathematical and very few courses related to Computer Science. Mathematics at IITs is not everyone’s cup of tea. It is extremely tough, unlike JEE Math.
However, if you are passionate about Mathematics and want to pursue a research career in it, go for it. The courses might include lengthy proofs of Mathematical Induction and set and relation theory.
