- Surrounded by 7sister states of India and even bags the title of NORTH EAST INDIA'S Best college among all.
- And the time you spend with your friends, it's quite underrated but yeah it is one of the best things!

- Sometime the mess food is to boring and some of the prof Are also boring you litterally feel dizzy after completing their lactures
- There will be no ac in summer it is very tough

From the seventh semester you are eligible for campus placements offer. and before that in 5th semester you get internship opportunity from the college. around 300 companies came for on campus recruitment and this year placement percentage is around 82 %. and avereage package is around 25 LPA. and highest is around 1.9 Cr. per annum.

- Beautifull Campus:-The campus is one of the most scenic in india located beside the brahmputra and surrounded by hills and lakes with a area of 750 acres.
- Acadmic Excellence:- IIT guwahati has a strong acadmic reputation with experienced faculty high class labs and excellent infrastructure.

- Inconsistent Internet :- The room wifi that is provided through institute is inconsistent. The speed can go down anytime.
- Mess Food :- Here the food quality of mess is very poor. There is many variety in food but the quality is poor.
Placement Experience:
The Placement here is very good.The placement rate is around 80% with an average package of 15lpa. After completing the third year students apply for on campus placement. Last year around 200 companies visited and around 1000 offers were made. highest package was around 2cr and average package was 15lpa. 80% students gets placed. My palns after degree is to work in some mnc.

- Engagement sessions are less compared to other
- Food is not nice in hostels as I am not native .
Course Curriculum Overview:
This curriculum is well intresting and as an engineering student it provide opportunities for working in real time applications and helps to develop knowledge in all aspects of academics.As there is no need of further advancement as it is already getting advanced every year with new technology.

- The culture of IITG are I like the most and environment was so beautiful
- Hostel food was sooo good and professors are very friendly

- Climatic changes and so much of humidity
- Distance between hostel and class room nearly 1.5km
Course Curriculum Overview:
In IITG course curriculum was good .every 3 months we have a sem exams before that 1 midsem is there and after completing the chapter we have quizzes and every week they give assignments. I have suggested to give less assignments

- Campus is very clean and very beautiful and almost zero pollution inside the campus
- Faculties are very helpful in overall aspects,they are highly qualified and very interactive

- There is competitive environment inside the campus
- Due to competitive environment, it becomes very toxic

My academic course is not very hectic and the syllabus is also very easy. but there are some courses that need to be updated. there are four exams in one semester but it vary with each course. Overall the course structure is very good

- The campus was really beautiful and nice.
- Syllabus was best . Subjects like Quantum Computing was taught there.

- The schedule they make for classes and semester , it's a pressure cooker system.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester and 4semseter you can apply for campus placements. For msc physics majority Ed tech companies are comes to hire like Allen, resonance, narayana etc . Almost 95% students placed who applied for placements.

- The competition in the college is very much in almost very field whether it is academics or skills like photography and dance. This makes you put more efforts and overall results in self-improvement.
- The campus is very beautiful and also the dream place to live and enjoy your life.
Dislikes
- The environment in the college is such that people troll students of so called lower branches. They make not be really very serious but for a emotionally weak person it is enough to put them down.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The first year have different courses from different discipline other than the one I have opted for. But let me talk about the the course from my department. The professors are the best among all the other courses. The classes are highly interesting and i think bioscience and bioengineering is really a very interesting branch to take if you are interested in higher education.

- Beautiful campus with stunning flowers and tress full of nature vibe 😍. College provide us with all facilities like excellent sports, education, highly researchable, having fest to have a fun between our academics.
- Well maintained hostels, have central library as well as hostel library and department library too which full of collection of books, journals and digital resources like computer.
Dislikes
- Many proffesor are rude. They always demotivate you and make you feel that you e nothing.
Placement Experience:
Nowadays, placement scenario are very bad. Company came but didn't hired or if hired then they fired. Many company visit for internship as well as placement. From 7th semester, campany come for placement. Mostly student should be more than 7+ cgpa but still some camp any came for 6+cgpa.

- It's all about nature in college. And diff people from diff culture
- Friend that I got in hostel which made endless memory

- Curriculum I am in chemical but they are teaching biology and other subj which I don't likr

Placements of iit are good always but in recent times reccesion has arrived. I think in 3 years we get PPO and job offers. I don't know much about companies I don't have official placement data but 2.4 CR was the highest 73 per cent placed. I want to do a job

- The placements for M.Sc mathematics and computing students are very good here with good percentage of students placed.
- The course structure of M.sc mathematics and computing is very placement supportive and interesting.
Dislikes
- There is only ceiling fans in hostel room so in summers it may be a bit discomfort to you.
- There are a lot of mosquitos during summers so it is the most annoying thing I felt.
Placement Experience:
The on campus placement of this course are good with an average package of 13.6 lakhs. There are various roles in which you can get placed that is software development, data science, teaching etc. around 70% of students get placed. Many good companies such as Google Microsoft Amazon etc. comes here for recruitment
