The renowned American architect Prof. Christopher Charles Benninger of Pune designed the dormitory; ARCOP, located in New Delhi, designed the academic building. IIT Hyderabad students have access to several academic institutions, governmental, and commercial scholarship programs. A student must, however, meet the fundamental criteria for each award to be eligible. A student is also only eligible to earn one scholarship under any program offered by an institute, the government, or a private donor. Admission process is through one of the hardest exams of India JEE Advanced entrance test. The cutoff is based on the college, branch, gender, caste etc. Proir to admission college is selected through Josaa website based on the rank. They held 6 rounds and it is the frst option that got selected and all other below will vanish as rounds move on. Later after college decision we have to take josaa allocation letter and some other documents like medical , caste, income etc Reservation takes a major part in this process

- Thirdly, most of the professors are quite friendly and approachable. The club culture is good in the campus especially the cultural clubs are very active. And the most beautiful thing I found was that our seniors were friendly including the Mtechs.

Jee advanced is the entry gate to an IIT as everyone knows. First , a student must clear the jee mains exam to sit for the Jee Advanced exam. To clear this exam , one must focus on the basics first along with the ncerts provided. After clearing the exam , you will provided with common rank list (and ig you have a reservation then you will also be provided with reserved catagory rank). Then through the Josaa councelling process you will be alloted to one of the colleges you have selected in the specific branch according to your rank.

I passed JEE Advanced Exam with 6816 rank .This rank gave me a chance to grab numerous cources in various IITs .But As I am from Hyderabad , I selected IITH.Application process was done in a website called JOSSA.I have no reservation benefits.Writing an exam for 6 hrs(though we had a break in between) in one day was a bit of hectic for me.

Yes, i have given an entrance exam - IIT JEE ADVANCED, but before one have to pass JEE MAINS- the application form you can find it online in official website and fees at that time 800 rupees for mains and 3200 rupees for advanced, frequency of the exam is once per year, and so the difficulty is very uncertain to guess, but it is said that in 2016 the hardest paper of JEE ADVANCED, and of JEE MAINS- usually there will be 2 sets but when i was giving MAINS it was COVID time, so we had 4 attempts out of which if one can pass the cut-off(88 percentile) and which is highest percentile of yours will be considered as final one, and for ADVANCED the cutoff would be subject wise, if you get more than 5% of whole-subject marks you are eligible Benefits of reservation, ofcourse we had different cut-off for both mains and advanced , it was 67 percentile for MAINS

But for every scholarship, a student is required to successfully match the basic requirements for the scholarships. Also, a student can receive only one scholarship under any of the schemes by institute/-Gov/ Private scholarships. Merit Cum Means Scholarship:
- The Merit Cum Means Scholarship is offered by the institute and is available for only 25% of the students admitted and belonging from the Gen/OBC-NCL/EWS categories.
- The Parental income for all students in any category should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.
- The student should secure a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or above with no active backlogs.

It’s advisable to check the weather conditions and food culture of the Institute you are planning to go to. This is because while everything is secondary, health should be the primary concern. IIT Hyderabad has a moderate temperature with neither too high nor too low temperatures. The rainy season witnesses moderate humidity. IIT Hyderabad has a wide variety of cuisines and food here will never disappoint you.
IIT Hyderabad has a fractal academic system wherein students are free to choose courses of their choice except for a few compulsory courses. He can choose courses from any specialization wherever his interest lies.
IIT Hyderabad campus life is average as it’s still developing and thus lacks in terms of infrastructure. Ultimately, it’s your decision to make so make sure it’s one that will shape your career perfectly.

My knowledge is limited to IIT Hyderabad Civil Engineering as my brother hails from the same

- The branch usually records 100% placements
- Majority of the branch is recruited by core companies like L&T, STRATA, TATA Steel, etc.
- Students were provided internship offers from top institutes and companies like NCAOR (Antartica), TATA Steel, Univ. of Tokyo, Coal India, Purdue Univ, L&T, Keller, Shapoorji Pallonji, etc.
- IIT Hyderabad has longstanding ties with international universities like Purdue University, Tokyo University, Ritsumeikan University, State University of New York, etc.
- The faculty of this department is young and dynamic such that you can approach them easily in case of any issues.
- You get tremendous practical exposure which won't be possible in the case of IIT BHU.
Considering the fast-paced growth of IIT Hyderabad Civil in the initial stages itself, I will recommend you join it over IIT BHU.
Which college should I prefer, CSE in IIT Hyderabad, CSE in BITS Goa, EEE in BITS Pilani?
In my opinion, CSE in IIT Hyderabad is the best option amongst the aforementioned institutes. EEE in BITS Pilani is not a good option unless you are interested in core Electronics. This is because the future is CS-oriented and everyone is out there trying to secure lucrative job opportunities in the same. I wouldn’t suggest you target a branch change from EEE to CS in Pilani as for that you will require a very high CGPA as high as 9.7 which is very very tough to get.
Speaking of BITS Goa, it is known for its amazing new coding culture and no compulsory attendance policy. However, nothing can match the brand value of IIT.
IIT Hyderabad focuses primarily on AI and ML which is very beneficial for your future.
Thus it can be concluded that IIT Hyderabad is a better option for you.

- Fest: Elan and nvision, the 2 IIT Hyderabad fests have a great reputation but BITS fests are at another level. Also, BITS has both technical and cultural fests whereas IIT Hyderabad has a single techno-cultural fest.
- Placements: The placement scenario at IIT Hyderabad is much better than BITS Pilani and is expected to improve in the coming future.
