Course Curriculum Overview :

From +1 and +2 itself I am interested in what goes in chemical Industry and everything else. And also I got a rank such that I will get chemical engineering department in prestigious IIT Guwahati. Our department is well established so faculty student ratio is pretty decent. Exams were moderate to difficult and per semester 2 exams are conducted.Several minor tests are also conducted.

Class Size : 98Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities start from 5th sem and continues till end of 6th sem where major companies like Amazon Google Microsoft will visit campus and make offers. Stipend offered depends on the company and role offered and it averages to 80000 per month.

Placement Experience :

When 7th semester is completed placement season starts which continues till the end of 8th semester. Many large MnCs like Amazon,Google, Microsoft, Rubeix etc. have visited campus during this season offering roles like SDE and ML engineer and various core departmental roles

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee is very high compared to most other institutions for open category students. But most major banks are ready to provide educational loan .Few of the major banks like SBI and canara are present within campus to provide loans.

Campus Life :

Alcheringa--annual cultural fest Techniche--annual technical fest. Very large library where most books and journals are available is established.Classrooms are technically upto date with very good infrastructure. Facilities for almost all sports are provided. Technical and cultural clubs are there to cultivate interest among students.

Hostel Facilities :

We have got a newly built hostel for ourselves where in each room 2 students are allocated. Rooms are very spacious with nice ventilation and a lan port for internet. Mess is the only concern where food is not upto mark considering taste. Mess quality can be improved. But it is nutritious.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility to IITs is decided by JEE advanced examination for which we have to get eligibility by writing Jee mains examination.Details of these examinations are found in official JEE advanced and NTA websites

Crisp college experience

Placement Experience:

Placements in this college is quite decent . Students are eligible to sit for placements at the start of 4th year The average placement percentage was 90 percent last year with max package of 52lpa and average of 16lpa (for cs) .Among core branches , the mech department is quite good offers good packages and also have great faculties .

Faculty members are the best part of the college.

Placement Experience:

Almost 60% of students got placed in our course. The highest was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA and the average is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vodafone, Jio etc. Our college provides better placements compared to other private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've been enthusiastic about exploring more about software and programming which influenced me to choose the course of Computer Science Engineering. With further development of artificial intelligence, it opens up better learning and job opportunities for students. In my university, computer science is taught by experienced teachers and faculty but it would be better if they were more inclusive of certain topics which are extremely important for the students and raising the level of teaching including practical learning and understanding and also examining the student's capability is one of the aspects to be included.
