Master of Science [M.Sc] (Chemistry) From IIT Roorkee, Roorkee

The candidates must have passed Chemistry for three years/six semesters. No restrictions for engineering degrees.

IIT Roorkee also offers MBA and M.Sc. degree as Postgraduate courses. The M.Sc. course is offered under 6 different specializations, for a duration of two years. The MBA course is also offered for a period of two years.

Admission to the MBA depends upon the CAT score obtained by the candidates, based on which the eligible candidates are invited for the Group Discussion and Interview rounds. The M.Sc. candidates are evaluated on the basis of their JAM scores.

Key points to note:

• The final merit for making offers of admission to the MBA course will be on the basis of their aggregate performance in the Written Test (CAT 2016) followed by Group Discussion, Interview and their Work Experience as per respective weightages:-
  • CAT Percentile – 65%
  • Group Discussions – 10%
  • Interview – 20%
  • Work experience – 5%
• No tuition fees is charged from the SC/ST candidates for the MBA course
• For MBA, applicants need to register and fill the online application form after declaration of CAT result. The form will be available on the official website of IIT Roorkee.
• MBA application fee is INR 1600/- for General and NC-OBC candidates. While, it is INR 800/- for SC/ST/PD candidates
• Candidates have to pay the application fee through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card.
