The tution fees of 1lakh per semester will be the fees and the hostel fees mess fees too, around you have to pay the fees of 12 lakh something for 4 years . But no worry you can easily afford the fees . There is too much scholarships like medhavi chatra yojna , central sector scholarships , FFE ,samsung scholarship and many more . If you have income certificate than it will reduce the tution fees . If the income mentioned on income cerificate is lees than 1 lakh then you will given full tution fee redemption . There will be bank loan services too , very easy bank loan approvements .

Campus Life:

There is central indias largest techno fest FLUXUS is celebrated in starting of march month each year and other fest too like lakhsya , ecell. There is big library centre for books and study , around 5000 books are here for your study , specific study zones are made to make your study easy . Too much sports facilties are provided here to make you healthy and strong ,you can acces free gym servuce too. there are many clubs like drama , singing , dance , coding , business related , and many sports club too like cricket , vollyball ,.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

PDEU has one of the highest fees in Gujarat private colleges. I think it is too much and the college gives scholarships to barely a few students so you can't rely on that unless you're a top student. The competition is also a lot so it's difficult to say you'll get that.

Campus Life:

There are two main festivals here- tesseract and flare. They have a lof of hype for their 3rd day but other 2 days are like okayish. The sports and all is really cool and focused on here. Like good grounds for football, basketball and lawn tennis infact.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships and placements are never an issue in our college as stated earlier. Almost all big companies from the globe visit our campus ranging from Apple Google Facebook to high frequency trading firms like graviton and Quad Eye. Also, you can opt for study abroad programs and exchange studies with top universities globally from Japan Switzerland, and the United States. It is not mandatory for you to do an internship in only a top multinational corporation but can also do research internships under professors either on campus or globally in any renowned University. Being from one of the most prestigious iits in the nation the tag helps you in getting admission or approval from any college on the planet whether it be Tu Munich or the University of Tokyo. The IIT tag always helps. Also if you are from a core branch you can do internships in government sectors inside India where being from an IIT would actually help like for instance IOCL if you are from chemical engineering like me.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Being a centrally funded autonomous institute the fees at the Indian Institute of Technology are pretty nominal. Compared to the private University is like bits but they are more expensive than the NITs. The fee is around 12 lacs for 4 years of bachelors for general category students while it is negligible for scheduled castes and tribes and economically weaker sections. Also if your parent's annual income is below 8 lakhs per annum then there are scholarships even for general students who can apply for them during their study. Even if you do not receive us scholarship you can easily get an education loan without any collateral and guarantee from Punjab National Bank or State Bank of India. IIT Kharagpur being an Elite institute in the country all banks sanction loans almost immediately without any prerequisites which you have to pay starting from 1 year after you graduate. Money can never be a barrier if one wants to study at IIT. Scholarship grants and financial aid are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

This year there was a lot of chaos for the first year students as despite having the same subjects there were differences in the difficulties and matter of the course. The mid sem happens 1.5-2.5 months after the semester starts and the end sem occurs 4-5 months after the semester starts. I choose chemical engineering as this course interests me the most.

Faculty:

Most teachers do not bother actually teaching. They just do the minimum work and conclude the classes. Due to this, all the students have to study themselves before the examinations. Also, the teachers focus too much on assignments that they know everyone's going to copy only.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio in chemical engineering brach was an important aspect because there would be 2-3 faculties for leading each subject .It makes our learning experience incredible, also we will be more attentive in class always. They used to conduct frequent tests and maintains the students graph regularly. The faculty will be always there with us from the start. They would explain the things to be done in internships, they would give us an awareness about our CGPA to attain our desired opportunities . The faculty was always there with me for my difficulties during my first year, they would always try maintain an amazing relationship with the students .They always put effort in making creative interactive sessions for the students with reknowned personalities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is of KTU 2019.The specific aspect of curriculum that lead me to choose this degree course was projects and researches done by the aluminies of the college. There are some setbacks though. One thing about this was the subject engineering graphics. I think this is an outdated subject. We're applying for this courses because we need to pursue further towards the advanced jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average. It can be improved very much. I see that the curriculum is lagging behind in various aspects of the modern education system. The director and the HODs of the department must see this and make some improvements. First-year students are all treated equally according to their subjects. All students of the first year have the same subjects to study in the first two semesters of the first year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is good according to me. Where some colleges provide education for very high fees, this college provides education at a much cheaper rate, I would say almost half of the other private institutions. There are fee waivers according to caste based reservation system and also on the annual income of the family of the individual.

They are well qualified in there field and they give there hundred percent to make sure that student understand the concept if you are not suppose to study so nobody helps you there so it is compulsory you should have that mindset to learn something new you will definitely love the faculty ..faculty to student ratio in class is normal that there is one faculty for whole class but in labs there is 3 to 4 faculty there to help students .we have the Google classroom we can approach here and the other way that we talk to cr than we can easily approach teacher for any doubt.

Ques. Should I join IIT Delhi chemical or top NIT CSE?

● Top Answer By Sushmita Gupta on 01 Apr 23

Ans. Yes, irrespective of the branch, choosing IIT Delhi will always prove to be beneficial for you. IIT Delhi has ties with many big firms that visit the campus for placements and offer great packages irrespective of your branch. One needs to be proficient in DSA and other computer science core subjects such as OOPS, OS, DBMS, and Computer Networks. A good grasp of these will fetch you a high-paying job no matter which branch you belong to in IIT Delhi. Although most companies that visit IIT Delhi also visit NIT, your IIT tag will always fetch you extra benefits and no one can deny that. For instance, the same role offered to an IITiand will have more salary than that offered to a non-IITian.You can easily switch roles and fields given the brand name of the institute you are associated with. IITians even have more opportunities for higher studies in Foreign countries than non-IITians. IITians especially from Mumbai or Delhi are always given preference over non-IITians hence it is advisable to go for IIT Delhi in any branch.Read more

Ques. Which is better in terms of placements and all: IIT Roorkee chemical or IIT BHU chemical? Which has more liberal branch change rules: IIT Roorkee or IIT BHU?

● Top Answer By Nisha on 02 Jul 24

Ans. I am a second year Chemical Engineering student at IIT Roorkee. Both IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU offer top notch placements. However, IIT Roorkee Chemical is a better option because of these reasons- The NIRF Engineering ranking 2023 of IIT Roorkee is 5, while that of IIT BHU is 15. IIT Roorkee has a stronger alumni network than IIT BHU. This can be beneficial for placements, internships, and career guidance. The 2023 placement statistics of IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU are given below: Parameters IIT Roorkee Overall IIT BHU Chemical Placement Percentage - (63 Recruiters, 500 offers) 86.43% Median CTC - INR 16.18 LPA Average CTC - INR 19.52 LPA Highest CTC INR 1.3 CPA (domestic) INR 1.06 CPA (international) INR 1.68 CPA (overall) INR 1.15 CPA (Chemical) (The branch-wise placement data for IIT Roorkee is not available). The branch change policies are based on the academic performance of the students in their first year and the availability of seats in the desired branch. These are the branch change rules at IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU: IIT Roorkee-  A 9.0 or above CGPA is required for a branch change at IITR. Another thing is that the strength of the new branch should not increase by more than 10%. Moreover, the strength of the original branch must not fall by more than 25% of its existing strength. IIT BHU-  For IIT BHU, the required CGPA for branch change is around 8.5 to 9.0. IIT BHU might have a slightly more flexible approach, but it mainly depends on the number of students applying for the branch change and their respective CGPAs. Some branches may restrict the number of students who can transfer in. Seat availability in the desired branch is a critical factor for branch switch at both institutions. IIT BHU might have a slightly more relaxed approach for branch change. But overall, switching a branch at both these IITs is a difficult task. Read more

Ques. Which is better, chemical engineering from UICET PU Chandigarh, chemical engineering from Thapar University Patiala or computer science from CCET Chandigarh (affiliated to PU)?

● Top Answer By Pankaj Kumar on 05 Aug 21

Ans. Having a few friends from both institutes I might be able to share some facts about both the institutes. Chemical Engineering at UICET is better than Chemical at Thapar University or CSE at CCET. UICET is a well-renowned university and has a reputed department.  They have brilliant placement records and a strong alumni base. Laboratories and faculty at UICET are better than those at Thapar. Course fees at UICET for chemical engineering are very less than that in Thapar University.  Thapar is no doubt a well-reputed university but as far as chemical engineering is concerned UICET is better. CCET is affiliated with PU located in sector-26 Chandigarh. It is well known for its diploma courses. However, UICET is any day better than CCET in all terms. Categories Chemical Engineering at UICET Chemical Engineering at Thapar University CSE at CCET Chandigarh Course Fee INR 70,079 13.23 lakh 2.45 lakh Highest CTC 18 LPA 15 LPA 12 LPA Average CTC 6.31 LPA 7 LPA 4-5 LPA Recruiting Companies Honeywell, Reliance, Pfizer, Piramal Healthcare, etc. Reliance, GAIL, ONGC, GlaxoSmithKline, etc. Infosys, Godrej, L&T, HCL, etc. Your preference order should be Chemical Engineering at UICET> Chemical at Thapar University> CSE at CCET.Read more

Ques. How is Chemical Engineering at NIT Surathkal?

● Top Answer By Shikha Ghosal on 14 Sept 23

Ans. The Chemical Engineering branch at NIT Surathkal isn’t well-known because of its obsolete curriculum and poor placement scenario. I hope you haven’t yet joined it but if you have known that there is no turning back. It’s better to start working hard to compensate for the poor branch than to sit and regret.  It’s better to opt for Chemical in Trichy or Warangal. Otherwise, you can study hard in the 1st year and opt for a branch change. Even if you fail to get CSE/IT, even civil and mining will do.  I have many friends who joined this department recently and all of them are regretting their decision big time. Some even call it the worst in the institution. So I will recommend you to go for Chemical in NIT Warangal instead. Read more

Ans. The first year lays down the foundation for the entire program so you need to be very careful and smart in planning your routine. Make a note of the following tips that will help you if you are a first-year student at BIT Mesra. Ask beforehand if the bus will take the Bariatu route or the Kokar route for buses plying Ranchi at 1 PM. Maintain a healthy bond with seniors instead of being arrogant.
