IIT Roorkee MArch Admissions 2024 are based on GATE Score followed by COAP counselling. GATE online registrations for the year 2024 has been concluded. Candidates can download their admit cards on January 03, 2024 and the exam will be conducted on February 03, 04, 10 and 11, 2024. To be eliglbe for IIT Roorkee MArch program, candidates have to secure a valid score in the GATE entrance exam then register themselves for COAP counselling through the COAP official website. However, IIT graduates with a minimum score of 8.0 CGPA can get direct admission to the institute for this program through a personal interview.

IIT Roorkee M.Arch Eligibility Criteria
- A bachelor’s degree of B.Arch/B.Tech(civil) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 cgpa but for sc/st category the minimum marks required in bachelor degree is 55% or 5.5 cgpa.
- Direct admission without GATE will be offered to those IIT students having graduation with a minimum score of 8.0 CGPA.
- Full time sponsored candidates can apply for the admissions. Sponsorship certificate should be with the candidate.
- There is no age bar for taking admission to any post graduate program at IITR.
IIT Roorkee M.Arch Admission 2023
- Admissions to M. Arch will be made through the valid normalised GATE score only.
- Sponsored candidates will have to go through the interview/written test.
- Candidates seeking admission to the M. Arch (Pg Prog) degree will have to apply online.
- Institute will prepare a merit list.
- Selected candidates will be asked to present for the verification of the documents.
- Students appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply but they have to present their transcript till September.
- Candidates who are unable to submit the transcripts until September, their admission will be considered as rejected.

- Visit the official website of IIT Roorkee (www.iitr.ac.in), go to admissions sections and click on post graduate courses and than click on apply (Admissions>pg courses>M.Arch)
- Step 1 - Fill the online application form
- Step 2 – Fill all the details and upload all the documents mentioned in the form.
- Step 3 – Pay the fees.
Application Fees:
- Application fees for master’s programs will be around INR 300-400/-INR for general/genews/obs non creamy, for SC/ST it will be around INR 150-200/-INR (Previous year data).

- Valid mark sheet of Bachelor of Architecture and equivalent exam.
- Valid high school certification in order to birth certificate.
- Scanned copies of passport size photographs.
- Scanned copy of signature.
- Valid ID proof at the time of the registration.
- Contact details and an active mail address.
- No objection certificate.
- Certificate of appearing in case the student is in the last year of Bachelor program.
- Valid GATE score result.
