Provides an excellent curriculum. It's actually beneficial for students but only when they use it in a proper way. People can go along their preferred interests and nitdgpis really a place which encourages their students to persue their interests

It is well structured, evolving with industry trends ,but could benefit from more practical-based learning and updated content.Exams should focus more on practicals rather than theory which will foster holistic development.

The course curriculum is fair. The exams timings are good only mid sems and end sems only occur. So we have enough time to study before the exams and also have enough time to brush our skills. The exams difficulty level varry as per the subjects but it is moderate to though.

Course curriculum is quite relevant. I have a keen interest in robotics which aligned with electronics course , that's why I opted for this course. Most of the curriculum is oriented towards theory aspects but it also prepare us for real world application. More practical based learning can improve the curriculum.Practical based exam frequency should be improved and theory based exam frequency should be reduced.

Course curriculum is similar to any other NITs, but our college with the new trend arising also started introducing subjects like Ai, ML to our curriculum. Not only that, here all students are trained properly to work on different softwares which make them industry ready.

Although Electrical Engineering is considered to be the toughest branch, students take this branch because of its vast future scope and highest package. Electrical is a core branch and thus it has a lot of seats in PSUs as well.

The presence of exceptional professors undoubtedly contributes to a positive learning environment, fostering intellectual growth and engagement among students. The fact that the first-year subjects align closely with the material covered in Class 12th suggests a smooth transition for incoming students, providing a solid foundation upon which to build more advanced knowledge.

The Course curriculum is very good. Our college also teaches basic subjects like economics and accountancy to B.Tech students. Coming to core subjects for the respective department, the syllabus is very valuable.

The curriculum of the college is normal not too good and not too bad type. Sometimes the subjects might feel hectic otherwise it would be good. The real world applications are very important, the better we learn, we can apply them in real life more easily. The timing interval between exams is not there.A continuous week examination will take place one exam everyday

I have mentioned below the B.Tech fee structure for AY 2023-24 at NIT Durgapur.
The semester tuition fee for B.Tech and DD courses is as per MHRD regulations. That is Rs. 62,500 for students of every semester. If you belong to SC/ST/PH/have family income less than 1 LPA, your tuition fee will be 100% waived. If your family income is between 1-5 LPA, your tuition fee will be 2/3rd waived. The tuition fee has been constant for many years.
The hostel fee will vary from one hostel to another, and one month to another. You’ll have to pay a refundable security deposit of 5000 INR at the time of joining the hostel. 6200 INR will be paid as hostel seat rent and hostel establishment charge by students of every semester. Mess charges will be added as applicable.
NIT Durgapur is one of the most affordable NITs. In spite of this, it has good mess food.

No, Bachelor of Computer Application [BCA] course is not available in NIT Durgapur. The institute only offers Computer Application specialization at Masters level.
