Msc statistics course review at IITB

Excellent palcement for MSc statistics course.Almost all students who apply for placement get placed.

Dislikes

Course structure needs to be revised and should be made more industry oriented.Currently it is more theoretical
80% attendance is compulsory otherwise you wont be allowed to sit for exams

Yearly fees for MSc statistics course in IITB is around 1,25000 including hostel and mace charges. Semester hostel and mace charges are around 33000 and rest is tution fees. Institute also provides various scholarship like Merit cum means(MCM) scholarship which is provided to top 25% students of class with income less than 5 lakhs. There is no tution fees for SC/ST students.

Fees is not matter, ROI is really good. You can get loan from Alumni fund at 0% intrest. Scholarship are MCM and few other if your among top 3 department rank There are no jobs on campus with our course but you can get in touch with innovation centre.

There is an M&M (Merit cum means) scholarship for students in financial need. From our department, there is another scholarship that I am offered - the Pfizer scholarship. It is given to 2 of the top students having an M.Sc project based on statistics.
