- Being a male student from the mechanical branch. i think the gender ratio here is very good compared to a standard engineering college
- the campus is lush green and the quality of air is very good. and the surroundings is also perfect the city is located at a perfect distance, not too far not too close
Dislikes
- the administration like any other college is not that good.
- being in an off-beat city, there is minimal induatrial exposure and also the lack of good places to goof around in the city. boring city, boring people.
Campus Life:
The campus life is very good. there is no sign of ragging and toxicity. There are occasional encounters with the seniors when they ask for introduction, just introduce yourself and go. There are also social events that are organised regularly that increase the social interaction and social life of the students. this helps boost confidence and build speaking skills of the engineers. There are also student run committees, clubs and societies. some of which run all year long. being a part of the student groups helps squeeze out the opportunities from the college even more efficiently.

- The campus is very much neat and clean having good infrastructure
- There are lot of clubs and societies and good alumni network
Dislikes
- For 1st year there are lot of restrictions.
- The mess food is not that much good it is decent
Campus Life:
The infrastructure of this college is awsome you will always connect with nature. There are a lot of club and societies where you can improve your skill All the classes are high tech providing digit borads etc.
Likes
- Peaceful environment very good for studies and for extra curricular activities.you get opportunity for everything you want
Dislikes
- Reachabilty and transportation is expensive
- In a very offbeat area no railway station nearby
Campus Life:
Annual college fests are two one is technical fest That is Nimbus while another one is cultural fest Hillfair.both are very enjoyable and funful . So much great things we get to learn and enjoy along .

- Hostel life is one of my favourite thing in cllg
Dislikes
- Behaviours of senior not many but some of them are hell
- Faculity is also not too cooperations rather than of some teachers
Campus Life:
Campus life is best rather than study some of the beaches are so hard but some of them are so easy but you have to study to find a great package maintain cg for campus life I would like to give 5 star due to enjoyment in our campus after second year but
Likes
- NIT Hamirpur is one of the most beautiful campus, infrastructure structure is good.
- Faculties are expert in their field and are quite supportive.
Dislikes
- There is shortage of water in hostels,so this is a big problem.
- Rules for girls is very strict and are pointless.
Campus Life:
The annual festival held is HILLFAIR which is held nearly in October and the technical festival is NIMBUS which is held nearly in March.The students have the access of library as well as e-library from where they can download books and previous year question paper.The sports facilities are available for both boys and girls.
Likes
- The lush green and beautiful campus spreaded over an area of 320 acres.
- You'll get a lot of opportunities here, for research, internships etc.
Dislikes
- Certain hostel rules specially for girls are baseless here. Hostel management is not upto the mark.
- Hostel staff is not at all helpful and are quite rude.
Campus Life:
There are two fests in an year. Hill'fair- Cultural fest in October and Nimbus- Technical fest in November.You'll will get access to books through library and Digital library too.Facilities like Free WiFi for students is also available.There are a lot of Clubs for extra curricular to explore for. Sport facilities are also available here.
Likes
- The environment of college and the nature is really awesome.
- The faculties are very well qualified they have published various reasearch papers and are also very helpful.
Dislikes
- The attendance rule minimum 75 percentage attendance is necessary
- Rules for first year is very strict and there are several places in campus first year student are not allowed to visit
Campus Life:
The people around here are really good and friendly you can make friends easily and there are various clubs and societies that conduct various events and workshops offering technical and cultural knowledge. There is also a fest called hillfair which has various cultural and technical events. It also has bot fights. The society here also conducts hackathons and electrothons.

- Infrastructure is good campus is nice placement also good
- People here are interactive and so nice .
Dislikes
- Faculty is very poor and not teaching properly
- Rules and regulations are very strict .
Campus Life:
Hill fair is one of my most favourite technical fest it is typically held in start of November Library has a wide range of books Facilities like fan table and advanced smart board are there in class Wide range of sports from cricket to football to badminton every sports available and extracurricular like robotics and other clubs are here Clubs like discipline club has huge effect on life

- The campus is beautiful, it's covered with forest and beautiful scenery also air is super clean and fresh overall campus is beautiful
- Lot's of clubs and societies to join by which we can explore different types of activities and skills
Dislikes
- Few cases of drugs related stuff which I don't like
- Seniors forcing students to call them sir
Campus Life:
The social aspect, club involvement and infrastructure is pretty good in this college. Lot of culture and technical fest are conducted each year. The biggest Event for each year in college is called Hillfair which goes on for 3 to 4days with all clubs and societies performing including freshers to seniors and superseniors . The annual biggest tech fest is also conducted named as Nimbus in which different technical societies and clubs like robotics society and others take part . Talking about sports , inter year , inter branch and inter hostel are conducted each year as sports events .

- The campus not Hamirpur is so beautiful and has many sceneries to look around.
- The climate is also so nice and it is easy to handle
Dislikes
- The food is not so good that students from different areas can't adjust to it
- There is the drug culture in nit Hamirpur but the administration is trying to make an end to it
Campus Life:
The Campus is very nice and the places are very good and it is easy to roam and experience the college.There are many clubs and societies to join and like ncc,nss etc..... There are many grounds to play and indoor stadiums also in respective hostels.
