Nit's curriculum integrates theory with practical applications well. Could benefit from more frequent updates to match industry trends. Exams fair but could vary in difficulty. Overall, solid foundation room for improvement.

course curriculum is quite relevent , its was updated recently , event the grading system was changed recently, though the college does focus that much on intenships or practical application but it will give u enough time for leanr that yourself, exams are moderate and happends 2 times a semester + some internal test which depends on the faculty. college should focuse more on practical knowlege and should encourage students for internships

Course curriculum is somewhat less relevant till now, but is still good,as there is something new to learn from here also. But as the semesters goes on relevance keeps increasing which is quite a good thing. Wel I chose Mathematics and computing, because there has been a shift in world towards ai and ml which requires knowledge of both maths and computing, which has quite relevance in real life world, however improvement can be made in terms of their less quantity.

As my course name is mathematics and computing ,it is the combination of mathematics and computing which are my favorite subjects to study in engineering, And in the upcoming years the demand of ai and mL will be boosted so this course suits best for that. There are many and very good real world applications like making ai projects which tells the real time condition of a human face , etc. Overall course experience is good , but there must be some improvement in teaching process ,and there must be little more involvement of real time projects, the curriculum is all best The frequency of exams are less but productive , the difficulty level is between moderate to difficult , and the exams timing are in morning

NIT hamirpur is the only NIT with btech in mathematics and computing. The course curriculum is superb. we have been taught things like python, c programming which are best suited for the industry. the exams are modrately diffficult and there are exams like midsem and endsem in every 2.5 months. the teaching method needs improvement, it should be more digitalized. overall it is the best institute.

As I am a Mathematics and computing student, so my branch mainly focuses on higher mathematics and AI/ML(Artificial intelligence/Machine learning). The 1st year curriculum is same for all branches. From the second year or 3rd semester, you start your core branches subjects. The subjects mainly focuses on Mathematics and Computing side. The course is good. But as AI is getting upgraded day by day, the course should also get revised.

I have interest in mathematics and artificial intelligence. So I thought of taking mathematics and computing in the college. Personally I would rate it between average and good Because the course itself has a very interesting and useful. Things for real life related to artificial intelligence. But I found teaching methods to be a little boring. I would suggest that a practical learning and skill based learning should be more encouraged in the college. Encourage in the college and the frequency of exams is 4 times per year.

My branch is Mathematics nd computing which is best combination. The future demand of this branch is increasing high as in this curriculum AI and Machine learning also in the syllabus . The person doing is best in software as well as logic building

Everyone wants to go to cs branch and computing requires mathematical knowledge which is sometimes lacked by ca studenta but mnc branch provides higher level studies for computing as well as mathemarics. It is a very futuristic branch. Many flaws in purely computing branch can be fulfilled by maths + computing combination and new codes can be made with new and better knowledge so it practically prepares for real world. Exams are held in a way that each year we have 2 swmesters with 1 mid sem and 1 end sem exams.
