To be eligible for the course one has to clear the JEE exam conducted by NTA every year. There is reservation for backward classes. There are two exams for each semester. And the difficulty of the exam is between medium and hard.

Admission is only done based on JEE Main, so you have to score a good percentile to get admission to top courses. Since I am an OBC candidate, I got some benefits of reservation. The application form for JEE is available on the NTA website.

You must be qualified in the jee mains and percentage should be more than 75%in 12 CBSE exam but top 20 percentile for state boards. Reservation is valid for obc EWS sc st students according to their quota. Jee mains exams are held twice in year .

Admission:
During my addmission time it was COVID phase so I do not have much idea related to addmission process. I get reservation benefits based on my category . In a semester we have two examination including mid-sem and end-sem.

- Location of the college is good as it is situated in a place away from noises and disturbance of the city.
- The facilities are quite good and interactive with the students.

- The infrastructure of the college is quite poor being a National institute of technology college.
- The classrooms are quite old and it needs a lot of repair and maintenance.
Admission:
To avail any course in NIT Manipur you need to appear for the JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (JEE EXAM) which is conducted by NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY (NTA) every year. You have to be either a 12th passed or appearing to appear for the exam. And the admission is done by JOSSA after the JEE Exam result is declared.

Admission:
The cut off for non locals was good, but was way easy for the locals. As a non local, i secured 93 percentile in jee and then got cse, but some of my fellow local batchmates were in sane branch with a mere 50 percentile. The registration process and all was done smoothly, no major issues were faced. Only problem was there were no arrangements done for the parents coming this far to drop their child. Everything needed to be done by ourself.

The admission process was tough I had gone through jossa round then I had gone through csab in first round I got civil engineering in nit Manipur then after that in second round I got mechanical engineering in nit Manipur

I enter the college by appearing jee mains. Application is available in nta website. Application fee varies for different reservations but they are affordable. There is reservations for obc ,sc, st, ews, pwd. The jee mains are held two in a year. the difficulty is above average. The admission process is done by Josaa.

If you talk about admission in college then you have to qualify jee mains exam conducted by nta and cutoff for admission is above 95 percentile for general and for sc it will above 85 percentile for OBC and ews it will above 93 percentile
NIT Manipur Scholarship 2024

NIT Manipur offers scholarships to students who can not meet their academic expenses due to their low economical background. Students pursuing professional degree programs and technical courses in Engineering at NIT Manipur are often benefited from scholarship schemes and get relaxation in their tuition fees along with other rewards on the basis of their merits/categories/ annual parental income and other factors. Scholarships offered by the Government of India under several different schemes are acceptable at NIT Manipur. The NSP also has applications of international scholarship schemes for specific courses such as the Chinese Government Scholarship and the Japanese Government Scholarship. You can get admission to National Institute of Technology, provided that you clear JEE Mains with the required cutoff scores as prescribed by the institute. The expected cutoff required for B.Tech. are given below:
Candidates must have qualified GATE or NET with sufficient scores or written Test conducted by college. Furthermore, candidates are also required to appear for Personal Interview and Counselling as notified by the Institute on the official website. The candidate must have M.E/ M.Tech in relevant disciplines with 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks OR B.E/ B.Tech in the concerned disciplines with 7.0 CGPA or 70% marks.
