National Institute of Technology, Delhi (NIT Delhi or NITD) is an autonomous institute that is approved by both the UGC and AICTE. NIT Delhi Campus
For the permanent campus of NIT Delhi, 51 acres of land have been allocated on NH-1 in the Narela area of New Delhi. The construction of the permanent campus has started. In 2010, NIT Warangal became the site of NIT Delhi's academic operations. The application process is through JOSSA, to enter any of NIT, you need to pass the JEE exams, and after that on the basis of the college cutoff you get selected for different branches in which you applied, reservation benefits are also 50 percent of students are from the home state, Delhi and remaining of 50 percent are from other states.

The don't like the online admission process it's too stressful because we can't get proper clarification about the documents which are needed to admission & many other information so this should be done in physical mode

You can addmission in NIT DELHI through JEE mains exam.you have to pass the JEE mains exam with good rank. counseling is done by joosa for admission. The exam in college conducted two time in every semester.

The admission process was through josaa counselling in which we have to opt for the colleges with branches in priority order After choosing of the order they match the eligibility of course with the corresponding rank Nit Delhi can be got by the jee qualification rank in the mains exam. The cutoff is decided by josaa and through this process, admission can be taken. The thing that I don't like is that the campus is very small only 51 acre And there is no branch upgrade option in NIT DELHI.

- The environment of our college is very good including the behaviour of the faculties they deals with you with very politeness and they are very educated in their field,more about faculty I can say is they are also very friendly and very calm
- The infrastructure is brilliant of our college structurally and as well as technically every floor every room covers the wifi range and every room,lab,Lts have sir conditioner the buildings are very beautifully designed which looks like IT buildings

- The thing I don't like that the college is very far like I travel near about 2 hours to reach college because their is no metro station near college I have take the bus from the nearest metro and it took near about half n hour to reach the college
- The second thing that because of shifting the infrastructure is not ready yet so the proper vibe of college doesn't come from our college in present we have a ground 2 big buildings and every sports courts like cricket badminton and basketball or etc

For taking admission your rank should be in thousands in Jee mains if you are from genenal cast and +2 percentage should be near about 85 and you'll know about jee mains and if you want to give improvement for it yes obviously you can this exam helds 2 times in a year

There are two modes to teach NIT Delhi by Delhi Metro and bus.

What are the reasons behind NIT Delhi being the worst NIT?
NIT Delhi is definitely not the worst NIT given its excellent planet scenario. However, it's true that NIT Delhi hasn't reached the level of other NITs, and it's because it's in its infancy stage. It still has many obstacles to overcome which it certainly is doing gradually.
The reason NIT Delhi is ranked poorly is that the major criteria considered by these ranking bodies are faculties research work, placement, campus, and infrastructure and sadly NIT Delhi lacks in all these aspects. It has no permanent campus and the infrastructure is also pathetic. The institute attracts less quality professors and has a low permanent-teacher ratio. All these factors combined affect the ranking of the institute.
How's ECE at NIT Delhi?
One of my cousins is an ECE student at NIT Delhi. She loved the fact that the batch size was small and every student received individual attention from the faculty. Some of the labs are not well-equipped but you can find almost every faculty there. The opportunities offered to NIT Delhi students are more than their counterparts because of the small batch size.
My cousins made many new friends in 4 years. Alarmist everyone from her batch got placed in good companies and no one regretted joining NIT Delhi. Last year, the average package for ECE was around INR 15 LPA. Some students even had 2 offers by the end of the placement drive. Even the labs and hostel facilities have been improved ever since it started operating from the new campus.
Overall ECE at NIT Delhi is definitely worth it!
How good is the NIT Delhi for CSE?
NIT Delhi CSE is highly regarded among engineering aspirants mainly because its curriculum has been updated recently to meet industry standards. They are always way ahead of their counterparts in other colleges. The best part is that their rigorous academics do not affect their extracurricular activities.
The faculty of the CSE branch is very lenient and approachable. CSE labs are equipped with the essential software. The placement scenario is great and almost everybody ends with more than one offer. Many huge firms like BookMyShow, Smartprix, Samsung, and Deloitte offer great packages to CSE students.
So, NIT Delhi CSE is a great choice for you!
NIT Silchar is similar to all the other NITs like MANIT, NITJ, NITD still its cutoff/ranking is low, what are the probable reasons?
If you look at all the criteria MHRD takes into consideration while ranking institutes, NIT Silchar is at par with most NITs but in terms of research, and infrastructure. The only parameter in which NIT Silchar was behind NIT Warangal was reputation and the difference was drastic. This affected the overall ranking of the institute in turn lowering the NT Silchar cutoffs.
I think the major reason behind its poor reputation is its remote location and the rumors related to it. It's falsely rumored to be in a Naxalite region and the exposure is believed to be minimal. The institute has a bad reputation, particularly in North India.
I have friends from several NITs and I have safely concluded that NIT Silchar is better than many but it's difficult to convince people of the same and the institute has a bad reputation.
To fix this problem, we need our alumni to be more active in portraying the right image of the institute. Additionally, the institute should hold more inter-college events and strive to build a reputation.

Honestly, scoring a 9+ CGPA at NIT Delhi is not as difficult as it seems. You just have to follow some simple tips mentioned below
- Enjoy your college life but not at the expense of your academics.
- The first year is the easiest and the best time to improve your CGPA.
- Always make organized notes of your studies and classes.
- Sadly, the professors prefer students to copy-paste from their notes and have no extra content.
- Don’t fall for the trap, CGPA does not matter, because it does and a lot.
- Invest extra efforts to set yourself apart from the crowd as NIT Delhi has relative grading.
- Start focusing on your CGPA, especially from the 6th semester.
