- The Interaction between faculties and students is good , they are supportive in nature
- The infrastructure is also good . And There are several buildings in process of making also .
Dislikes
- The Mess facilities are not so good , it's average .
- We have to walk a lot to reach the lecture hall complex . It's a very large campus and we have to climb up the slope.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course curriculum is really good . It includes all the pre requisites for MACHINE LEARNING, DEEP LEARNING, DATA ANALYTICS , RISK ANALYTICS , BUSINESS ANALYTICS AND THE DATA SCIENCE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE . Moreover our course is also designed in a way to become a fully fledged financial Engineer.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are very good but our administrative bodies are not good in this manner . They rejected the proposal of amazon to take students on internship opportunities of 6 months so you can only do internships while being on a vacation.
Placement Experience :
There is a good placement stats of our college . The dual degree courses provide better opportunities of placement. Even the mechanical branch has 90 percentage placement rate in our college . You can get a good job here if you have skills .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Fees for General open Category is approx Rs. 75000 per semester for academics Fees for sc/st is 14200 for odd semester and 13950 for even semester Fees according to income : Income < 100000 -> 14200 for odd semester and 13950 for even semester Income between 1-5 lakh => approx 40000 per semester Income above 5 lakh => approx 75000 per semester and for hostels :- for hostel it's 40,000 for 1st sem there after 25000 for even semester and 35000 for odd semester for our session 2022-2026 but for afterwards it's 30000 and 40000 My fees :- I fall under OBC Category of less than 1 lakh income so I pay 14200 for odd semester and 13950 for even semester Besides , i don't reside in hostel but The hsotel fees are as above mentioned. And fees may be a little up or down according to the session category and all things . Every year , there is a little rise in academic fees also , so these are not the exact figures . These are the approx figures.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure provided are really appreciable. Campus life is good , there are no restrictions . You can roam anywhere with your girlfriend , no kissing restrictions and all . But for being selected into clubs , generally you must have contacts with the seniors.
Hostel Facilities :
I neither live in hostel neither in pg , i have a flat outside the college . But i can explain you the hostel facilities , there are 8 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels , and some hsotele are under construction also. In first year you must live at least 3 or 4 per room but in 2nd year and ahead you get chance for 2 seaters , 3 seaters , 4 seaters andin final year you get a separate single room.
Admission :
I am an outside state student so it was more percentile for me to get this course , i had enough percentile to get CSE also but i chose MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTING over CSE I had 98.99 percentile . But for the local or HP Domicile , there are students with 80 percentile also in our branch , here the worst thing is the state quota.
Faculty :
The faculties have great qualifications. Most of the faculties are local or feom HP but although , they have good knowledge and qualifications. Some faculties are extra impressive in the work to teach , while there are some faculties also who have knowledge but don't know how to teach.
