Course Curriculum Overview :

Nit's curriculum integrates theory with practical applications well. Could benefit from more frequent updates to match industry trends. Exams fair but could vary in difficulty. Overall, solid foundation room for improvement.

Placement Experience :

PLacements are relative depending on the branch. Computer science students tend to have a higher preference for it company recruiters. Core branches also have a decent amount of placement. Average package is around 10 LPA.

Nit's fees increase biennially. Total costs over tuition, service fees and additional charges. Scholarships vary, including merit-based options. Campus jobs offer stipends for roles like research assistance and tutoring.

Campus Life :

Nit's campus life was vibrant with festivals like hillffair and nimbus. various food stops for meeting our hunger. student activity centre for various sports like badminton,table tennis, cricket. Various hackathons like electrothon.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are divided for various year during the course. like for first year we get kailash boys hostel which is the best in the college. then we get Himadri then Neelkanth boys hostel. Then we get Himgiri Boys Hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 100000 per year

Admission :

Nit's admission involved meeting eligibility and exam criteria like jee main or gate . Application form online with fees. Reservation benefits applied. Improved communication and accessibility could enhance the process.

Faculty :

Faculty at nit were highly qualified with phds offering insightful teaching and mentorship. Good interaction opportunities , through availability varied. Overall, effective in guidance academic and career growth.

NIT Hamirpur Review

Placement Experience:

The college provides a quite decent placement. This year highest package was 2 Cr and previous year highest package was 1.73 Cr . More than 40 companies visited.Top recruiters were Samsung ,CRED, Syska,Croma,Oracle , Accenture etc. More than 80 percent students get placed and after my degree I am also thinking of getting placed .

Placement Experience:

The placement drive begins from the beginning of 7th semester for the four year bachelor's programs. The average package offered in my stream .i.e. Mechanical engineering is about 8-9 lakhs per year. The placements depend upon the students knowledge and grades. And the placement percentage of college is above 75%.

Placement Experience:

Like from the the 7th semester we are eligible to sit in placement process. Companies like vegazva, khanna paper mill, shree cement etc. companies visited in campus. And the highest package as like i mentioned the company visited in campus giving us 4lpa for 2-3 years then it is increased as per the candidate performance.

A clear picture is not shown to the website of my college as well as student studying at it. However after consulting through our seniors, we get to know that various big companies visits our college. The highest package is about 60 lakhs but average is around 10 lakhs

Campus placement is now going to boost In JNGEC from the last 4 years. Students are eligible from the last year of their graduation for the placement.
