Old faculty in many departments which makes difficult to contact with them
Lack of wifi in many hostels. Although LAN works but it still have many issues

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is mathematics and Computing comprising 40% of maths and rest is of computer science concepts and statistics. Course curriculum is very relevant and comprehensive and also very practical makes the students learn real life dealing of maths and computer

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies gives internship opportunities to students of our college. Students need to be eager and skilled enough to step up and grab internship opportunities whichever comes. College is always in try to improve internship opportunities for their students

Placement Experience :

Campus placement are above average here. This year the average placement was around 9 lakhs. Average placement is increasing every year. As I'm in first year right now, so I don't know about how many companies and profiles offered to students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for general students having income more than 5 lakhs is 1,01,100. SC/ ST students gets tuition fee waiver. Also the students having family income less than 5 lakhs gets recession in tuition fees.

Campus Life :

Here we have annual cultural fest called hillffair and annual technical fest Nimbus. Hillfair comes in the month of October or November every year and Nimbus in even semester. Also there are many cultural and technical clubs in campus for exposure of students

Hostel Facilities :

There are total 8 boys hostel in our campus and around 4 girls hostel. Hostels here are not very luxurious. Also the mess food quality is average. Food quality can be improved. Rooms are provided with LAN or wifi and a table chair and bed

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Admission :

Got admission through JoSAA. During admission I didn't have any choice for college. I got good branch here so I took this college. I chose this college for its green surroundings and beautiful infrastructure

Faculty :

Faculty of my department is very good. But few department such as electrical and electronics are very strict. Also the course curriculum is so tough which makes the exam very tough to clear. Overall 6/10 faculty

College is good if you only want degree at affordable cost but its not for you if you want to enjoy your college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculam is not good. Focus is more on theory rather than on Practical knowledge. Students have to study on their own to be industrial ready. Students study through online and offline courses to be ready to work in industry. Course curriculum doesn't prepares us for the real-world applications, we have to learn it all by our own. There are two sessional exams in middle of every semester conducted by college itself and one final exam at the end of semester conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University.

NIT Hamirpur- The campus that feels like heaven.

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th sem are eligible for placements. The highest package offered last year was 1.7 CPA. Around 80% of the students get placed here.Companies like Amazon, Samsung,Paytm,TCS, IBM, Infosys,Oracle, Accenture, Bloomberg etc often visit here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had completed a diploma in civil engineering that's why I was looking for a college to do my degree. The overall experience here was not on the good side due to many reasons. First, you'll find many teachers who'll come and teach here for 6 months and leave. So the quality of teaching cannot be assured since teachers are changing almost every semester. Exams and midterms were held timely even if they haven't taught you anything about a particular subject.

Placement Experience:
