In 2023, 93% of the total batch was placed. The average package was INR 24.58 LPAand the median package was INR 21 LPA. Top companies include IBM, ICICI, Accenture, Google, etc.

There are 2 main reasons why I prefer IIT Mandi to IIIT Delhi. Firstly, one can never underestimate the value of the IIT tag. It’s like attaching yourself to a branch for the rest of your life. Secondly, IIT Mandi is well known for its lenient branch change. This helps you explore multiple branches in the first year and then finalize the most preferred branch in the second year. It’s a win-win situation in either case. However, solely relying on branch change is not wise and you should analyze other angles also.

Which is better, MNIT for CSE or IIT Mandi for electrical?

Although both programs are offered by prestigious institutes, I prefer CSE at MNIT to electrical at IIT Mandi. Considering only the branches it’s not a brainer that CSE offers much better placement opportunities than Electrical. I am not saying IIT Mandi placements are not good, it's just that they cannot be compared to MNNIT CSE placements. I would suggest that you go for CSE at MNNIT rather than Electrical at IIT Mandi. Yes, you will miss the much coveted IIT tag but trading it with an NIT tag, better college life, and excellent placement opportunities is not a bad deal right? The moment you sit for placements and start receiving excellent packages in contrast to your counterpart electricals, you will realize how wise your decision to choose CSE was.

What should I choose: IIT Kharagpur economics, IIT Bhubaneswar electrical, IIT Mandi electrical, IIT Guwahati civil, IIT BHU civil or something else?

During IIT Kharagpur placements 2023, the Highest Salary reached INR 2.68 CPA. B.Tech Electrical at IIT Bhubaneswar: It is a 4 year full-time on-campus degree offered at IIT Bhubaneswar. The course fee for Electrical at IIT Bhubaneswar is INR 2.74 Lakhs in the first year and INR 2.68 Lakhs each for the next three years. I don't know the exact amount of fees but I think tution fees is 1,06,000and mess fee is 23,910 and extra fee with hostel fees is something 20000according to me and for ews student those have family income less then 1,00,000 have no tution fees and also who are sc and st

Academics is strict, there is 80% attendence is compulsory in every subject or course.

I paid institute and medical cover fees which is 12,400 and 1,500 rupees per year respectively. My friend paid 2,12,400 institute fees for 1 year, he belongs to the general category. I paid 10,000 for one time non-refundable charges at the time of admission and 12,000 for one time deposit. The hostel charges and mess charges is 19,200 and 30,720 rupees per year respectively for all btech students. There are different type of scholarship refered by my institute(IIT Mandi) like Reliance foundation scholarship, Engineer India Scholarship (EIL) for sc/st students admitted to the institute, EDCIL Vidyanjali scholarship, kotak kanya scholarship specific for girls and much more. There is different criteria for different scholarship.

Strong Academic Focus and Rigorous Curriculum: The institute offers a challenging academic curriculum designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen fields.

IIT Mandi, Like other IITs, Has a well-defined fee structure that covers tuition , hostel, mess and other miscelleaneous expenses. The total fee for a four-year B.Tech program typically ranges from 8 to 10 Lakhs, depending on various Factors. Each semester students need to pay Tuition Fee(100000) , Hostel Fee and Mess fee combined is 28000.Their exist some one time fee which include Admission Fee Development Fee etc. As a govement College SC/ST students has zero tutions fee and for other category their exist income based fee for example students with familiy income between 1 to 5Lack has to pay only 1/3 of tutions fee. Also there are many scholarships avaible some of based on student study performance and some on student familiy income

The fees for odd semesters for General is around 1,40,000 and for even semesters is around 1,25,000 This includes 1,00,000 tuition fees, and other charges includes medical charges, etc For sc st this 100000 is waived

The academic section is slow and work like normal government office. Most rules for academics are not in favor of students. They require amendments especially in cases of approval after getting internship.

Tution fee per year - 198000 One Time Fees-10000 Other Charges- 6100 If the student is from financial category (1 Lakh- 5 Lakh) then he has to pay only 1/3rd of Tution Fee i.e. 66000 per year. If the student's family income is above 5 Lakh then he has to pay full fees as above. If the student's family income is below 1 Lakh, then he doesn't have to pay tution fees at all. Hostel+ Mess Fees- 50000/yr

Brief Overview over my life at IIT Mandi

I am not eligible for any scholorship so I pay the full fees, that is roughly 1,50,000 per semester. The breakdown is 1,00,00 tuition fees, rest is divided into hostel fees, maintainence fees, mess and other aminities. scholorship is available on the tuition fees only.

The Honest Review Of IIT Mandi

Robotics environment is very good , I can say it is better than some tier 2 collges

I think tuition fees is quite high . It should be less as it is goverment institution. Not only this college but all IIT's . My overall tution fees is 960000 for all 4 years and almost 2 lakh hostel fees. But good thing is that College provides scholarship for economically backward students . Campus placement is also good. , student secure a decent placement from there . Also you can secure high paying job if you have good skills in your respected domain.
