Admission to IIT is done in 2 phases via jee mains and then advance, for eligibility you have to be 10-12 passed, and in 12 you must have a 75% overall percentage, in admission process it's a very traumatic process of josaa and it can be streamlined.

I took entrance into this college after qualifying for JEE Advanced in the discipline of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The cutoff of this branch was 5685 - 7009. After qualifying I filled out the JOSAA counseling form available at their official website. After selecting the college I paid fees for freezing the seat and after that came to college on the reporting day.

Don’t let anyone make you believe otherwise, when it comes to choosing colleges the brand name and the tag certainly does matter in the short or the long run. No doubt, NITs have their own recognition in the industry and NIT Raipur will be a well-established institute but all that lies in the future. Life here will be very challenging with no strong tag attached to your degree.
IIT Bhilai, despite being a new IIT, enjoys better recognition brand value which will be of great help for cracking certain interviews or even higher studies.
In terms of education and exposure, both institutes give an edge to each other. So it depends on you whether brand value matters to you or not. Make sure to make a wise decision!
I think the branch matters more than the institute and that being said personally I feel IIT Bhilai Electrical is a better option than IIT Indore Material Science. The small batch size enables you to make the most out of the opportunities and resources. The points below further prove my opinion
