IIT Dharwad, established in 2016, is an autonomous engineering and technology institution in Dharwad, Karnataka, India. Established under the guidance of IIT Bombay, by the Indian government's Ministry of Education (MoE). IIT Dharwad Campus Life and Events
The Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) campus in Dharwad, close to the Karnataka High Court Bench, will serve as the original home of IIT Dharwad. At the settlement of Chikkamaligawad, a permanent structure is being constructed.
The permanent IIT Dharwad campus was opened in March 2023. It was decided to build the IIT campus on about 500 acres of KIADB property near Mummigatti on the Pune-Bangalore National Highway outside Dharwad, but the deal was scrapped because of legal complications. The State Cabinet resolved to award 470 acres of property in the Dharwad district's Kelageri village, which is adjacent to the Mammigahtti Industrial Area. Twenty kilometers separate the college from the famed Kittur Fort.
The permanent campus of IIT Dharwad, India's first green and smart IIT, was opened to the public on March 12, 2023, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Additionally, the city is home to educational institutions like SDMCET, the University of Agricultural Sciences, Karnatak University, and Karnatak College. Admission:
The opening rank for electrical engineering for Jee Advanced was around 7k and closing rank 10k for general candidates. The josaa counselling requires you to submit your details and register after advanced exam upon filling up for counselling you can avail the choices of seats and seats will be allocated accordingly.

Jee advance is should be cracked for getting into our college. Jossa is the counselling that has to be done for admission process. Around 50 percent seats are reserved for candidates. Admission process is really smooth but the fees for this can be reduced which is around 35000.

I took JEE mains and advanced exams the cut-off for the advanced exam is 90 marks.I don't have any reservation benifits.Like I have reservation but it is only usefull to reduce my cutoff but not for the refund of fees

First, we have to qualify in mains, again in advance, you have to qualify, which will held after inter second year. Applications are found in josaa counseling. If you are eligible you will get a seat other-wise nothing. It's so difficult to write exams based on the instructor's difficulty of the exam. IITs are central government they don't want to increase the admissions process. just they have to increase seats then no one leaves in IITs seat.

for taking admission , we have to first give JEE mains and qualified it with the minimum passing percentile( for general it used to 90 percentile , for obc is used to be 65 percentile e.t.c). after qualifing JEE mains we have to have give another exam JEE advance . usually application form for jee mains come on january of every year and for JEE advance it usually come on may or june of every year.In this examination we have reservation , OBC have 27% reservation ,EWS have 10% reservation ,SC have 15% reservation , St have 7.5% reservation and PwD have 5% reservation

Admission is generally through Jee Advanced i got a 2568 rank in advance so I opted for this college, all is done by Jossa Counseling they allocate seats as your preference so no worry, yes improvement is like if we get clarity that to know which college course how they perform on review of college than it will help I am general category so no idea about the reservation process

Jee mains, jee adv should be qualified. Reservations are for all castes except oc. Applications are released by the government of India. Reservations should be minimized in this way knowledge is given priority. The admission process is easy.

I have written both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Eligibility is you have to pass the 12th class. You can find the application form on its official website. OBC, SC, and ST will have reservation benefits and OC people will have EWS reservation benefits. No improvement I want to see in the admission process.

IIT Dharwad offers Executive M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to the students. The course admission and application procedure is not available in online mode. Kindly contact on IIT Dharwad office on 836 2212 839 to know the query answer.
You are considered eligible for IIT Dharwad MS provided that you have completed graduation in the equivalent specialisation with at least 60% marks.
