Dislikes
- A *developing* infrastructure, which cannot be compared to the present facilities at the old IITs. IIT Mandi is 15 kms away from the main Mandi city, so you get that Dominoz, and partying, and all that stuff at a stake of travelling 45minutes on bus
- (IIT has its own buses running every hour between Mandi and the Campus). So if you are too much into city life and stuff then you may not like IIT Mandi. The inter-college fests they organize are less attractive than the big colleges however you get

- Infrastructure: infrastructure is well maintained here. We have a huge library, mega classrooms, auditorium, OAT, sports complex.
- Club culture: club culture is good relative to other colleges.
Dislikes
- Connectivity: no railway station in mandi make it a very hard to reach.
- Faculty: some faculty are very rude to students and grading is relatively tough.
Campus Life:
There are three major fests which are exodia is the major cultural fest, ranneeti sports fest and xpecto tech fest. The fests here are not very big as compared to fests at DELHI'S colleges because of connectivity. Their is a huge 3 storey library in the campus with plenty of books. One can easily find books on every technical genre. Sports facility is good here. We have a two storey sports complex having courts of TT, Badminton, Squash, Basketball. Their is also a swimming pool. In outdoor sports thier is cricket, hockey, volley ball, tennis, football grounds. Their are several students clubs run by students major clubs are programming club, photography club, graphic designing club, dance club, music club, etc.

- The people or the batchmates here are very helpful . Everyone feels like family here . We people enjoy together , go on treks, visited and explored new places in Himachal Pradesh . The thing here is that the whole campus is surrounded by mountains...
- The food is tasty , as compred to kota which i resided during my jee days . The quality of food is good . No issues in it
Dislikes
- The campus is beautiful but it is not so large as compared to other government colleges. But it's fine though.
- They teach subjects like Engineering drawing to even Computer science students in the 1st year . But that's not a huge problem ig 😂
Campus Life:
In my case , I was an introvert kid , but when i entered my college and meet people here , i find them interesting. You will surely find your gang in college. When you come as fresher in college , there is an initial week called induction week where college does some activities to make people comfortable

- Career and Placement cell - my main concern for joining IITMandi was placement, and it was a write decision to join it . In 2023 , the median package for data science and engineering branch was 32 lpa and average was also similar to it .
- Upto date courses- The courses are updated and as per the industrial level . In the world AI and ML , there are three courses on Data science (1 , 2 and 3) compulsory for each branch , so there would be more interdisciplinair work.
Dislikes
- Connectivity- there is connectivity problem between north and south campus , although a shorter path has been made but its not completed
- Branch change- from 2024 onwards there will be no branch change . I think its bad decision as it was giving opportunities to the students to change their branches if they dont like the course structure .
Campus Life:
There is biggest fest of the himalayas Miraz conducted this year . Other fests are for sports-ranneeti And many other fests . There is club for literature, photography, artgeeks for creativity and many more . There is NSS group for social service in which you can participate There is inter hostels gc's. There is many competitions that held in regular interval which has prize money varying from 5000-50000/- It provides college an overall interactive culture.

- Peaceful environment for the students both to concentrate on studies and productive activities.
- Best place to have trips as it's a beautiful place with many wonderful tourism spots nearly 2-4 hours from the college.
Dislikes
- Travelling can be a hectic job as the way is full of ghats road
- Weather can be too extreme, all in winters, summers and monsoons.
Campus Life:
It is one the beautiful campuses in India. The college has many different clubs participating in intern IITs every year and also in the other college fests . It also has some cools clubs dealing with mountain biking, hiking and trekking, sports and adventures. Dance, music, drama, designing,E-Cell, TSOD, STARC, and many more clubs are available here.

- Admin unsupportiveness towards students.
- Frequently occurring landslides and remote location of the college
Campus Life:
we have the annual As well as cultural face as well as literary fest happening happening every year with En there is also something called as inter for cultural and sports, and we always actively participate in bring back medals for the college. We have all the activities that other colleges have in terms of sports in terms of cultural starting from music, dance drama to literally like debating, writing, et cetera, from for sports, we have, all the sports outdoor sports like lawn, tennis, badminton, football cricket, hockey to indoor sports, like table, tennis, tennis, tennis, chess, yoga, et cetera

- Infrastructure. We have two campuses, high end labs, good classrooms, libraries, sports complex etc
- Diverse branches, flexible curriculum, courses to encourage robotics, entrepreneurship etc
Dislikes
- The route between two campuses is not that proper especially if there are any lansdslides
- The bus timings between the two campuses and from campus to Mandi are very busy during peak hours
Campus Life:
We have the technical fest- Xpecto, cultural fest- Exodia, sports fest- Rann Neeti. We also have an intra-college tech fest- aakarshan, Astro fest- AstraX, literary fest- Ruvaan, inter-year tournaments- Aagaz, hostel general championship. We also participate with other IIT's in Inter IIT every year. We also have the student gymkhana where students are involved in every college affair, technical clubs and cultural, and literary clubs too.

- Beautiful campus, seniors are supportive, mind blowing infrastructure
- Faculty are supportive, good job opportunities ,
Dislikes
- Food quality is not so good in mess, cleanliness in mess is not good
- Vehicle management system is not good, distance between hostels and academic is far
Campus Life:
The names of the annual and technical festivals are miraz,ranneeti exodia etc. which happens every year in summer and winter semesters. There are a lot of clubs like music, robottonics, dance etc. There are many coding events like hackathons and frosthack where students get opportunity to solve real life problems using their coding skill and win exciting prizes.

The campus provides us all facilities of sports, mental health, physical health support etc. engineering books and competitive exam books are available in college library. IIT Mandi have some clubs technical, art, music & drama .

Campus Life:
There are mainly two types of fest fests here cultural and technical. Xpecto, Ruvaan, Exodia, Kala, Ran-neeti and many more. there are many clubs here like Music, dancing, Drama, Robotics, Yantrik, Sae and many more. They conduct many monthly/weekly fest in our college. All types of Games are present here indoors and outdoors. we have also playground for all games. here All the festivals we celebrate Like Holi, Diwali, Janmashtami, Republic Day, and Independence Day. Our college has two libraries one is on the North campus and one is on the south campus. There are all books available that help in our midsem and endsem exams. and also other knowledgeable books are available here. this campus is very natural like feeling natural beauty.
