The course is really very interesting. you get the opportunity to learn something which you are so much connected with i.e., soil, food, farmers, and much more. The curriculum is really interesting and exciting with so much practical knowledge. You get the opportunity to practically do the things you have studied about. So the approach is great. Although there are not so much of placements particularly due to this course but you have enough time to develop other skills on your own based on your interests. If you want to pursue higher studies you can consult with your professors. Talking about the areas of improvement, students should be motivated more to stick to this field because it is something that is really very crucial for our country's development. So more research companies should visit our campus. Exams and tests are really frequent due to short semesters (4 months).

Since am belong to agriculture background and also i wnt to come in top 7 IIT's so i decided to join this course. My department course is quit relevent for me in future but it need to be updated along with advancement in technology. Learning should be more practical where we thought of using AI for agriculture and food making. Exams are moderate consists of class test , mid semester and end semester exams. their will be 2 classs test in each semester per subject.

Chose the course as it was within my interest as well as getting fue to rank. Faculty student ratio varies from 1: 100 to 1: 50 Qualified faculty with degress from all over the world Term exams are timely, within 2 months each..and toughness is quite high but easy to score if you know the syllabus well and along with practic.

The course curriculum at IIT Kharagpur is comprehensive, covering a wide range of subjects from the fundamentals to specialized areas. I chose this course because it perfectly aligns with my career aspirations and I was particularly drawn to research opportunities or practical components. The faculty members at IIT KGP are highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees and having extensive research and industry experience. Their teaching methods, including a mix of lectures, practical sessions, and collaborative projects, have greatly enriched my learning experience. The term exams were conducted on schedule, and while they were challenging, the support from faculty and available resources made it manageable. The faculty-to-student ratio allowed for more personalized interactions and guidance, which I found beneficial throughout my academic journey.

I chose this course because my mother and father are a farmer. I've been connected to the field since my childhood. Our faculty is humble and helpful. Our student ratio is 1:3. After every approximately two months there will be your mid-sem or end-sem consecutively.

the course is moderate and we have to study about soil, and agriculture-related subjects. I chose this course because I am interested in this agriculture research field. Faculty are too good and helping nature. Around 150 students enrolled in that course. All faculty are Ph.D. holders and they teach us digitally. Every month there is a class test and the level is hard. There is mid and end-semester exam also.
In my opinion, Food and Agriculture Engineering course offered at IIT Kharagpur is indeed a good option for those inclined toward this field. Here are a few pointers as to why choosing this program is worthwhile
All the above opportunities are lucrative and can appeal to anyone who is genuinely interested in the branch. Moreover, IIT Kharagpur placements are also decent for the branch because most non-core companies allow the students of this branch to sit for placements.
