JoSAA Counselling 2024 Seat Matrix Released

New Delhi: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) released the seat matrix for JoSAA Counselling 2024 on June 10, 2024. Along with this, it has also begun the registration process for counselling. The JoSAA Counselling 2024 will be conducted in five rounds. Candidates who have appeared for JEE Main can register for JoSAA Counselling through the official website: josaa.nic.in.

This year JoSAA Seat Matrix witnessed a considerable rise of 59,917 seats compared to last year which numbered to 57,152 seats making a difference of 2,765 increased seats for the current year. The total bifurcation of seats based on different colleges is 17,740 seats in IITs, 24,229 in NITs, 8,546 in IIITs and 9,402 seats in GFTIs.

According to the official data, there has been an increase of 355 IIT seats. IIT Bhubaneswar has added 20 seats, IIT Bombay has added 12 seats, Kharagpur has 30 seats, Jodhpur has 50 seats, Gandhinagar has 30 seats, Patna has 84 seats, Guwahati has 10 seats, Bhilai has 40, Tirupati has 10 seats, and Dharwad has 75. Last year, the total number of seats at IITs was 17,385.
