IIT Delhi offers scholarships and financial assistance to B.Tech students based on eligibility and merit. Given below are some of the scholarships offered to the students:

Institute Free Studentship UG: Every year, IIT Delhi offers Free studentship to 10% of students based on mean alone.
Institute Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship: Merit-cum-means scholarships are available to BTech students with a CGPA of at least 6 and a family income of no more than INR 4,50,000 annually. These scholarships offer a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend of INR 1000 to no more than 25% of the students. 10% more students who fit the income requirement receive tuition reimbursement. All students who fall within the SC, ST, or PwD categories are exempt from paying the tuition.
Institute Merit Prizes and Certificates: IIT Delhi offers merit prizes and certificates to the top 7% of B.Tech students of each semester till the 8th semester. The prize amount is INR 2500.
Donor Scholarships: Donor-supported MCM scholarships are offered to students who must pay the entire tuition cost and have a family income of less than 9 LPA. JEE (Advanced) rank is used to select students, and maintaining a CGPA of at least 7 at the end of each academic year is required for continuing. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes a balanced mix of core courses and electives that ensure a well-rounded education. I really do like to study product manufacturing and management that's why I choose this course. Course curriculum and Teaching Methods can be improved a bit like in research areas. There are 2 exams minor and a major for each course each semester. there's no holiday in between and the difficulty varies from subject to subject, In most of the course it's about moderate.

IIT Delhi Civil Engineering

I like most the sports culture and the senior . The senior is very good to us .

Civil has many practical aspects like in building, bridge you must need the knowledge of stability of structure. Some computer programming should be in academic curriculum. Basically we have 1 minor and 1 major and 2to 3 quiz in one courses.

IIT Delhi- Reality of a Million Dreams

The overall environment of the campus is very lively
The network formed over the course of 4 year is very helpful

With all the brilliant minds the environment sometimes gets a little toxic
The academic load is very much in IITD compared to other IITs.

The Civil Engineering department is ranked as the best in the country, so all the courses of Civil give a very good idea about the core. But many a times, there are courses that are irrelevant to what is required in real life, and you do not have the option to skip them.

IIT Delhi review after 2 years

Inclusive environment, i have made many friends and college life is very enjoyable
beautiful campus, located in posh area in delhi, it offers overall development.

Strict curriculum, it is much harder than other colleges and getting good gpa is very tough
distance, the distance from boys hotel to lecture complex is very large and demotivates students from attending classes

There is a lot of scope in civil branch. it is called the evergreen branch of engineering so i chose civil engineering over CSE in lower IITs. There is scope for masters education from IIT itself or foreign universities. Lab components should be reduced. exams are well spaced with some sort of quiz or assignment going on every week or two.l

The mentorship quality is superb. We get to have mentors from our same branch who are currently in 3rd year where they support us and help gain knowledge about tech industry and relevant skill sets.
You get interact to with like minded people in cultural clubs and technical clubs where you can gain a lot of knowledge like which carrier options to chose from. trust me!

The grading system is completely in the hands of professor. It's his will to give good grades or bad ones. Generally on average a 7(B-) is given but some profs give a 6(C) for average.
It's a highly stressful environment for people in non circuital branches which may be cause of some mental illness. Managing academics is one of the main primary tasks here and its definitely not an easy task for students in non circuital branches.

The course curriculum covers more topics than any other college can cover. In first year we are introduced to some basics of electrical,computer science and mechanical engineering. The curriculum is in depth and really interesting to study. I had found my courses interesting so far. The course curriculum might not prepare you well for the real-world applications but it makes sure you're just one step behind it which means you're capable of self learn that thing in a small period of time. One semester if of 4 months and after every month there is a mid sem and then an end sem. Quizes are conducted depending on the course but mostly every 2 weeks you will have a quiz.

academic : iit delhi provides world class faculty and the top notch class environment with hi-tech equipments , mic -speakers ,digital board ,big classrooms , air conditioned .
I preferably like lABS here because its full of top tier instruments with all the top certification and all type of facilities and safety instruments and the lab staff is also well trained ,also we are provided TA for assitances

Strict course policy , professors take their course seriously and deadline and submission and exams are tough , it demands a high focus and time and leave no room for error.
there many things to explore and do and in midst of this sometimes academic backlogs create and clearing them is next to impossible in this highly competitive environment where there is a rat race for every small thing

Main aspects of grading and relevance in further studies. courses are well structured and updated regularly but sometimes professors are strict and sometimes they neglect the learning aspect of the course and focus on rote learning. but the lab component has never suffered its best with the best lab facilities. hands-on practice prepares well for real-world application. Many courses include assignments and projects to work on. Exams are well structured and announced beforehand, but the syllabus is not announced.exams are difficult but then grading is done on a relative manner so it is of no worry

The course content is only relevant till the exams in most cases for the students, but the course curriculum is designed to make you well prepared if you want to persue career in that particular field Sometimes the courses feel like very theoretical, their is scooe of improvement here, where a more practical aspect should be included

College has great facilities for sports and other social events.

There was a lack of diversity in the campus
Hostel rooms were very small so it was difficult to study there all day

Course curriculum was one of the best aspects of the college. For the first year, there were all fixed courses but from 2nd year onwards we got choice between electives and humanities courses and branch courses.

The Campus Life of IIT Delhi

IIT Delhi provides you exposure ranging from various clubs like dance, music, photography and event academic societies like aeromodelling, robotics, physics and astronomy and so on, and their events and workshops are great learnings and fun.
IIT Delhi academics is rigorous, but at the same time it is one of the best education of the country. The professors are highly skilled with respect to the course they take upto, which helps students get the maximum quality info about subjects.

The pressure of the academic excellence is one of the most difficult issues for a student here, as you feel imposter syndrome if you are not able to perform upto mark.
The quality of food in hostel mess becomes really bad sometimes. This creates a lot of problem for students.

The curriculum is changed from time to time and the professor adds a research project or class presentation, making the course interesting and more relevant. This majorly influences many decisions regarding courses on campus, along with the grading and teaching style of the professor.
