- I like the exposure a person gets here by his/her seniors as senior junior relationship here is what I must say the best I have ever seen
- The campus is one of the best in the nation so u have a lot of space for everything

Placement Experience:
Students typically become eligible for campus placements starting from the penultimate semester of their course. Placements start from third year, however internships start in the second year itself. The highest package is around 4cr per year offered by quant companies (like Jane street). Around 60 percent students get placed in good companies.

- I don't like the grading system. It is quite unfair.

Placement Experience:
Internship interviews take place after 4tb semester and students do internship after 6th semester in summer break. 1st stage of campussing takes place after 7th semester. As I still in 1st year I don't know the exact details of companies.This year around 88% students got placements through in-campus.I have not made any plans yet.

- Infra of the college is very good, all the classes are well equipped and supported with centralized AC.
- There are lot of places for eating food (restaurants).
Dislikes
- We have to travel long distance to go for the classes.
- Climate of this reason is also vey extreme.
Placement Experience:
Placements are also very good. Avg. packed is around 20 lakhs. You are eligible for the placement in the 4th year of your degree. Also, lots of companies come for internships as well. The top companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc overall placement rate is 87%. My plan after getting the degree is to get into some of the companies mentioned above.

Placement Experience:
We can avail of campus placements from the 4th year and internships from the 2nd year. There is a body OCS (office of Career Services) that helps students in their internship and job-related affairs. The overall procedure is very smooth. IITs are known for their placement opportunities. The average package is 16 lac per annum and the highest can go up to 3cr per annum.

- Things i liked the environment here . People are very friendly and helpfull in all domains either it be academic or any other general problem they help each other
- The facilities like the reasearch and innovative lab here. The labs in general for students and the startup cell here which encourages startups of students and provide them platform to work upon there innovations
Dislikes
- Things i disliked is the stict acadmic pressure. Which sometimes demotivates you and purs a lot of stress and competitive nature of courses
- A bit of caste system that comes into picture due the fact of reservation during admission is one point that needs to be worked upon
Placement Experience:
After 6 semesters students become eligible for placements and internships after 2yr though people rarely get internships after 2 years but all get them after 3yr during the summer break of the third semester everyone does internships. The highest package is 1 cr and the average is around 15 lakh per annum. Many big companies kike google Microsoft jp Moragna samsung quant companies big consultant companies also come here My branch placement percentage is quite high almost 98% of students get placements from campus. My plan is to work for 2 years and then pursue a master's from a foreign University.

- Loads of opportunities in every possible field. Also you can find someone in the same place having similar interests to you.
- Flexibility in selecting and doing courses (electives and humanities courses).
Dislikes
- A strict attendance policy (75% policy, failing which one grade down).
- The way some compulsory courses (like intro to engineering) were structured.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements start in the 7th semester and are kept in sync with the Office of Career Services (OCS), IITD. About 70% get placed and others go for fields like entrepreneurship, a master's degree, UPSC, etc.

- Reservation on basis of category I want everyone must get into IIT with equal marks.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose Electrical Engineering because I'm interested in Electric Department and it is a circuital branch of one of the top most IIT. At IIT, we get the best faculty from all over the world. There is TA for every group of 30 students and a personal acad mentor. Profs are too good and very experienced most of them had a lot of research in their life. As they are experienced their teaching method is better than any other college. We have 2 minors and one major per sem. They are quite tough one should have to study regularly to pass the exam. Discipline in IIT is too strict no one can practice unfair means in exams otherwise they got failed that course. Here things are more practical than theory because they believe in making us used to the real world. We have labs regularly and we have to do experiments properly.

- Education is very good here with great faculty
- Sports are always fun and here we compete with our fellow students and thus our competitive spirit is enhanced
Dislikes
- Hostel, the hostels are built around 1980s so the amenities arents that great
- Fees, hostel fees is fairly high, so better take a PG

From 7 th semister student become eligible for certain placements. Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Omegle, Ola etc visited our college.highest is around 80 lakh and average is around 8 lakh.almost all get placement offer in the course I study. I don't have any plans as of now

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?
The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season.
