The curriculum covers all branch courses in first year. Every student has to have the basics of EE, Mech, Chem, Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Your branch doesnt decide your placement and you can go to any stream you have interest in and find your carrer in that path. You can also take minor degrees and have 2 or more degrees for example: EE and CSE minor, Mech and CSE minor etc. You are also allowed to change your course in first year. The curriculum and courses are kind of overloaded though so its stressful. But all this, allows you to learn better skills and have an edge in interviews and placements.

When I was in class 9 I used to do coding and make projects. In 11 I wanted to use that coding in making real life projects that's why I got my admission in IITD You get to know about things and you apply them is all that I learned in my journey . You do internship get more real life benefits from what you gained from your course There should be more advancement in illustration of things which can be seen physically by various methods like hologram, 3 d figures One thing is common among student is fear of exams whether it is IIT OR any other college, the exams are very frequent and with very hard questions

The course curriculum is well designed in computer science courses with great focus on practical learning and assignments. At certain times during the semester, the pressure is too much but I feel this is what that makes IITians stand out among the crowd.

Growth in the computer science field. The curriculum designs many application-related courses and sets a base for bigger problems. The teaching method should be improved, there should be additional supporting staff and one-one interaction. Every week you have at least 1 exam(quiz)/ assignment, specifically in computer science.

The course curriculum at IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) varies depending on the specific branch and program. Generally, it includes a mix of core courses, electives, and practical work. The focus is on a strong foundation in science and engineering principles. I can provide more details if you specify a particular IIT or academic program.

I chose IIT Delhi above any other smaller IIT because I want a higher degree of exposure here, and there are enough professors and a good teacher-to-student ratio. The tests here are quite challenging, and passing them requires at least one week of diligent preparation. The professors are really highly qualified.

IIT Delhi is ranked among the top 50 engineering colleges in the world by QS SUBJECTWISE rankings. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:4. All professors are Ph.D. holders from IITs or reputed universities abroad. There are Mid Semester, End Semester, and quizzes in examinations. The difficulty level of these examinations is comparable to JEE Advanced.

The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course at IIT Delhi offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends theory and practicality, keeping pace with industry trends. I chose this course for its innovative approach and strong emphasis on problem-solving. The faculty-student ratio is favourable, ensuring personalized attention. Professors boast impressive qualifications, often with PhDs from prestigious institutions. Their teaching methods incorporate interactive lectures and hands-on projects. Term exams are conducted punctually, maintaining academic rigour. While the exams can be challenging, the support from faculty and peers makes passing achievable, fostering a dynamic and enriching learning environment.
There are two sides to every coin. Similarly, there are many reasons why one must choose IIT Delhi over IIT Mumbai and vice versa. To make it further understandable, I have listed some common pros and cons of IIT Delhi
Pros
Cons
I leave it to you to weigh the pros and cons accordingly and make an informed decision.
Do you think getting admission to the most coveted branch will also give access to the most coveted housing facilities? Well, you are wrong, inside IIT your rank has no value. You will be treated like any other student with equal amenities at your disposal.
At IIT Delhi, every student is allotted a room randomly without any discrimination. First-year students usually get 2-seater or 3-seater rooms depending on the hostel they are assigned to.
The single rooms you were asking for are usually allotted in the last year but some lucky students get a single room from the 3rd year in a new hostel like Girnar or Udaigiri. But regardless, your hostel will become your new home. Irrespective of the kind of rooms you are allotted, you get adapted to them and make splendid memories and new friends.
Both programs are equally good in their respective fields and so are the institutions offering the programs. It’s important to consider what you expect from the program and what you plan to achieve after graduation to make the right choice.
My sister was in a similar dilemma as yours and eventually, she opted for MCA from IIT Delhi. This program has many courses similar to CS but the only problem is, the pedagogy adopted has a more theoretical approach than practical. Moreover, at some point, you will start questioning the parity of the faculty and will have to resort to self-study.
But here is the bright side, most companies coming for CS placements consider MCA students too, and offer decent roles.
Although I am not well aware of the situation in Roorkee, I can guarantee a true coding lover will prefer CS to MCA any day.
Never target a fixed score if you are planning to clear JEE because the level of difficulty of the exam varies every year. The closing rank of an OBC candidate is 340 for the CSE branch at IIT Delhi. So, on a rough estimate, a score of around 230 might get you into CSE as an OBC student. However, you wouldn’t limit your capabilities to your branch but give your best.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will soon release the JEE Advanced 2023 cutoff for IIT Delhi. The authorities will also consider various factors for determining the IIT Delhi cutoff for JEE Advanced 2023 like the number of applicants, number of seats, previous year cutoff trends, etc.
You can refer to the given tables to know about the previous year's IIT Delhi JEE Advanced cutoff.

IIT Delhi is one of the top engineering institutes in India and is known for its Computer Science and Engineering program. According to various rankings, it is considered to be one of the best in the country.
Apart from Delhi, CS department of these institutes is also very good and reputed
IIT Delhi has a much greater brand value as compared to IIIT Delhi. IIT D is superior in many aspects, one of which is campus life.
I have many friends in IITD Textile. They bagged foreign internships in the IT sector during their second year.
The coursework for Textile is very manageable. You’ll get ample time to practice coding on your own. Don’t worry about branch change. Even for a career in CS/IT, self-practice will get you through. Also, opt for the open electives offered at IIT Delhi. You’ll ace CS/IT placement tests, and secure a good job.
Thus, I would recommend you choose IIT Delhi Textile over IIIT Delhi CSE.
IIT Delhi and BITS Pilani are two highly reputed institutions for engineering studies in India. I am a second year B.Tech Electrical student at IIT Delhi. During my time, I was faced with a similar dilemma. But I ended up choosing IIT Delhi over BITS Pilani for my studies.
I would recommend you choose Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi over CSE at BITS Pilani because of these reasons:
Here are the important comparisons between Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi and CSE at BITS Pilani:

I am a Civil Engineering student at IIT Delhi.
Even though CoE/ CSE/ IT are much more sought after by students in the present times, I would choose Civil at IIT Delhi over CoE at NSUT.
Here are the reasons for the same:
These are the 2023 placement figures for both these institutions:

However, based on the various reasons listed above, I would recommend you choose IIT Delhi Civil Engineering over NSUT CoE.
I am a B.Tech Chemical Engineering student at IIT Delhi. According to me, these are the main factors you should consider while making up your mind:
Here is a comparison between IIT Delhi Chemical and BITS Pilani CSE:

Even though CSE is a highly sought after branch in the current market, I would suggest you opt for Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi. IIT Delhi will offer a better ROI, and its brand name will be of immense benefit if you wish to pursue higher studies in India and abroad after graduation.
You can do some research on the career and research opportunities after Chemical Engineering, and see if this branch aligns with your future goals.
