Acadmic carrriculum for too harsh for students.girls to boys ratio is 1:6 in our campus

Fees and Financial Aid:

First of all,Let's talk about the the tuition Fees per semester.It will be 1lakh for a student from a household of income greater than 5 lakhs per annum.If a student's house income is less than 5 lakhs and greater than 1 lakh then He/She will get 67% fee waiver from the college andif less than 1lakh then it will be 100% waiver for you. If you belongs to SC/ST category then it will also free for You. And there will be some registration fees and other charges of nearly 8000/-. Hostel Fees per semester is 8500/- Mess fees per sem is 35000/- There are several Scholarships for the students who needed it. One scholarship that i can remember is that student will get full fee waiver and 1000 rupees per month if He/She manages to get a Cgpa of 6.5 or more and have family incom less than 4.50 lakhs.. And there are many more such .

Grading policy by the professors are too rough sometimes.
The professors and teaching assistants are too much annoying sometimes when it comes to course evaluation.
75% attendance is mandatory which is sometimes suffocating.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is costly for a middle class family. Every year the complete cost comes out to 3-3.2 lacs apart from other facilities availed in the campus. This fees include mess as well as course fee. The sudden increase n the fees over past few years has increased the burden on the students and their family. Financial aid are mostly available for low income class people.

Each semester's fee is around 1 lakh rupees summing up the overall year's fee to 2 lakh rupees. Therefore making the degree fees for all 4 years to be 8 lakh rupees. The college authority also provides fee relaxation to students in need.

There are many schlorships like Merit cum means schlorship FFE schlorship Reliance schlorship Ongc schlorship and many more I am awarded with Merit cum means schlorship.

Demand: CSE is more in-demand than chemical engineering.
Brand: The “IIT” tag holds more brand value than the “BITS” tag. The “IIT” tag will be more advantageous if you want to apply to foreign universities for higher education later on.
Fees: IIT Delhi is an affordable choice, whereas, BITS Pilani has high fees for its engineering programs. Additionally, IIT Delhi has better placements, which places it at a better position in terms of ROI.

I will restrict my answer to Engineering Physics and Chemicals only as I know the same only.

The major criterion followed at IIT Delhi by all the branches is a well-maintained CG. To secure good placements one has to constantly score a good CG throughout the program.
During your admission, the department does not play any role but your 85 percent constraint on minimum possible strength does.
Engineering Physics is a unique branch for those highly passionate about Physics and want to pursue higher studies in the same
To secure core jobs, one has to move to MTech in Engineering Physics from BTech in Engineering Physics.
For Chemical Engineering students, BTech is more than enough to secure decent packages and great research opportunities outside India.
Consultancy and Analytics jobs are offered equally to students of all the departments
Engineering Physics graduates usually take up consultancy or IT jobs
Chemical Engineering is the most laid-back department of IIT Delhi with very flexible academics thus making it easy to maintain a decent CG throughout.

I wouldn’t suggest anyone go for Engineering Physics if they have no intention of pursuing it later. Instead, look for other options in BTech and explore your interests.
