About NSUT
Netaji Shubas University of Technology (NSUT) East Campus formerly known as Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research (AIACTR), New Delhi is one of the top public engineering colleges in Delhi NCR. Established in 2001, the institute is affiliated to the University of Delhi and is approved by AICTE.
The institute is famous for offering technical courses at UG and PG level. The courses offered are B.Tech. and M.Tech. NSUT East Campus Courses
NSUT East Campus offers both B.Tech and M.Tech courses. It offers two specializations in B.Tech and four in M.Tech. Students intake is 30 per stream for M.Tech. For B.Tech students intake is 120 for ECE Engg, 60 for CSE (IOT) and 60 for CSE (Big Data Analytics) Engg. For B.Tech courses the score of JEE Main is considered and for M.Tech, GATE qualification is must.

NSUT East Campus Admissions
- Admission to B.tech programs will be provided based on JEE Mains Score and admission to M.Tech programs will be provided based on GATE score.
- The selection will be done through JAC Delhi counselling and seat allotment process.
How to Apply?
- Visit the official website of JAC- jacdelhi.ac.in.
- Register online and make the registration-cum-counselling fee payment.
- Select from the available seats and enter choices as per your preference. Candidates can add as many preferences as they want.
- Candidates must note that they can change, delete, add new choices, and re-order their choices until the last date of counselling
- Seat Allotment will be done based on the merit and availability of seats.
- Post Seat Allotment, candidates must take the provisional admission letter and report at the allotted institute.
- For the remaining vacant seats, spot round counselling will be conducted.
- Candidates can participate in the spot round JAC Delhi counselling by paying a fee of Rs 10,000.
- Special counselling is also conducted if vacant seats remain after the spot round counselling.

- Merit cum means Scholarship for Professional and Technical courses: This is a post matric scholarship for minorities.Students can visit the govt. website to apply.
- Delhi govt. Merit cum means scholarship: Students should fulfill the eligibility criteria which includes income/economic background and 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Based on the income there are three categories for which 100/50/25% of financial aid will be available.
- Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme AY-2019: This scholarship is exclusive to students from the state of Jammu and Kashmir
- Pragati and Saksham Scholarship: This scholarship scheme is available to female and differently-abled students.

NSUT East Campus Facilities
The institute offers a good standard of facilities for students to cater their needs.
- Infrastructure: The institute has a fire certificate, rain harvesting certificate, safety structure certificate and earthquake certificate. Around 20 well equipped classrooms are available for students.
- Computer facilities: Institute offers computer facilities along with internet access to the students. Also super computers are available for CSE students.
- Laboratory Facilities: ECE department has 22 labs for students to conduct their experiments and thus improve their skills. Each lab has an attendant and a technician to help the students.
- Library: Institute has a total of 5416 titles and 29462 journals. Among these, P.G. has 2009 titles and 8794 journals and U.G. has 3407 titles and 20678 journals.

- There will be annual workshops held on campus, providing the best industrial experience, and the labs are well maintained.
- If one can get the industrial training of their choice, its good; otherwise, they can be referred by the college or opt for in-house training as well.
Dislikes
- No, this is the thing that is very bad in our college. It does not provide an internship, which every college should do.
- The placement scenario in the recent years is not very good and up to the mark. Very few companies visit. The placement for CSE is quite decent, but for ECE, their is almost negligible placement. No, they dont provide internships.

This collage is situated in a bad area However I chose this because of its brand value and the placement it offers to the students. The average package of the Students are astonishing And the college is on second number in Delhi among best engineering college.

Admission process is based on mains rank which takes place through jac delhi. after completion of certain number of rounds, vacant seats are filled through spot rounds which is based on first come first serve basis. There are reservation present for sc st and obc and ews. 85% of seats are reserved for delhi students and other 15% are present for students from other parts of india.

- The college fest are cherry on cake as they give you a free vibe. After exams fests feels like heaven and i enjoy a lot

In the admission process, no fees are taken from the admin but the fees for admission we just have to fill out the online form in JAC Delhi and the process is so fluent and smooth. Application fees are nil in the process and the dates of applications are given by JAC Delhi

Admission:
for admission you must have to clear jee exam with good percentile and if you are from unreserved category then you have to score atleast 97%ile+ to get admission and for better branch you must score above 99%ile and for reserved category it depends on year to year. you are able to find application form on nta website and fees is around 600-700 each time for exam and exam held in january and april. exam held twice in year and the exam is little bit difficult in comparison to any other paper.

To take admission in the college you have to appear for JEE Mains Paper 1 exam that is conducted by NTA. Eligiblity of the college is 60 % in 12 boards aggeregate. After giving JEE Mains you have to apply for JAC Counselling that is generally held after JEE Session 2 around the month of August. The Application fees for the Application form is 1500 INR. The Admission process is very smooth and systematic

You have to pass the JEE mains exam after that you will get admission to nsut east campus. You can find the application form on the Jee website. Yes, you can find the reservation benefits as the cutoff is not the same for all the categories some of the categories got more benefits.

Admissions are made through JEE-Mains scores. High scores are needed if you are from the general category or outside Delhi students but will get relaxation if any quota like OBC, SC, ST, single girl child, etc. The admission process is smooth and you can ask questions visiting the respected campus or main campus. Overall selection process rating is above the average.

- course curriculum is very good. Even in the first semester, you'll be taught a lot of stuff, and by the third semester you'll be ready for internships
- The placements offered are excellent. From start ups to big tech all companies visit the campus. All campus students will sit for the same companies and compete with each other.
Dislikes
- The campus life is average, the ground is not big enough to play multiple sports. The Wi-Fi is also slow (though it is being upgraded). Labs have old instruments.
- You have to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance which can be difficult. If you live far away like me then there will not be a lot of time for self study and other things

To get admission you have to take the JEE Mains Exam and participate in JAC Delhi counselling. After getting your desired seat in the counseling, you have to pay the fees and go to your allotted college for document verification. There are seats reserved for category and female students. The process is overall very smooth and one should not face any difficulty.

NSIT Branch change Rules
Branch change in NSIT happens after 1st semester. NSUT has unique criteria regarding branch change. If there are vacant seats in the branch of your higher preference(as filled during the choice-filling procedure of JAC Delhi) and your JEE rank is better than other students who applied for branch change, then your branch changed automatically after the first semester. However, if you have filled out the branch freezing form at the time of admission or students who got admission during the spot round cannot change their branch.
DTU branch change
DTU has no branch change policy. In rare cases, if someone from a higher cutoff branch withdraws his admission after the spot round then the seat is filled by those who opted for that branch and not froze their current branch. The chances are almost low though.
How is NSIT Delhi?
NSUT Delhi is a premier engineering college now known as NSUT located in the capital city of India. Here are a few pros and cons that might give you a brief idea about the institute
Pros:
- The attendance policies aren't very rigid and professors are least bothered about students attending the classes.
- The academic workload is quite light and one can score well in exams by just studying one or two weeks before the exams.
- You will be exposed to a smart peer group and learn a lot from them.
- NSUT Delhi offers excellent placement and internship opportunities. This year the median package was recorded at INR 16 LPA. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Amazon, Texas Instrument, Google, Qualcomm, Cisco, Hero Moto Corp, etc
- The college gives enough importance to extracurriculars and many student-run societies promote them.
Cons:
- NSUT infrastructure is in a poor state although gradual changes are being made to improve the infrastructure and other facilities.
- The classes are boring and monotonous so the students are left with no choice but to self-study.
The pros overshadow the cons so NSUT Delhi is a decent choice.
