Likes

Being a new college it is clean, infrastructure is brand new.
There is good natural environment. That is forest area of around 60 acres

Dislikes

Management is not good yet being a new college.
There are no sports grounds in permanent campus yet.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Its mentored by IIT Bombay and has a very similar curriculum which was the reason to chose iit Dharwad. In the first year every branch has the same curriculum. Curriculum (especially lab courses) really make us industry-ready. Everyone can choose elective courses from other branches if they wish to learn from different branches. Still, there are very few branches to date so that students can get diversified courses. Exams are moderately difficult and conducted 2 times in the semester

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are around 3 Lakhs per years. There are several scholarships that offer 100 percent discount on tuition fees for economically weaker sections. Scholarships of around 200000 per year by samsung is also available. Campus placements and internship s are not very good and less that 50 percent students get placed

Campus Life :

Parsec is the tech fest. Esummit is also a tech fest. There is Summer of innovation. There is not cultural fest yet. Library is not very good being less that 50000 different books. Gym is really good but there are no spots grounds. There are many clubs including music, dance, drama, finance, literature, weightlifting clubs football etc sports clubs. These clubs really improve our college experience.

Admission :

Jee advance is should be cracked for getting into our college. Jossa is the counselling that has to be done for admission process. Around 50 percent seats are reserved for candidates. Admission process is really smooth but the fees for this can be reduced which is around 35000.

Faculty :

Faculty members are really good. Most of them are highly qualified from some famous institutions like iits. There are quite helpful with good practical knowledge. Also faculty is to student ratio around 1:10. Teachers are available for us during office hours and we can meet anytime in the academic office

Well ! The course engineering is having major scope in developing India.Hence that itself made me to join.And specifically electronic and communication engineering has got the title as evergreen branch ..In our college this particular branch is best compared to others .They provide VLSI information and further yet to do . Sir MVIT the Lowest package college.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students used to become eligible for the placements as the companies used to start taking the interviews. Companies like harman, Mahindra, etc. visited lasat year in the college and the number of jobs offered wa nearly about 332. Highest package was 16lakh and average package is 3lakh last year. Only 20% students got placed. i will try to get job off-campus.
