Placements here are good. Average package is 18lpa in 2023 and highest is 53lpa. Cse and EE have very good placements and other departments are decent. Students also get internshipsfrom 3rd year. Faculty also provide opportunities

By the end of 5 or 6 th semester student are eligible for the placements that means from the 3rd Year onwards students are eligible for the placements. Many named company visites our campus in the regular placements sessions

- College is just in nature, no pollution ,no rushes and beautiful sky.
- TA ( teaching assistants) are very polite and humble.

- Management in hosting fests, programs are not that top notch.

right after the 5th semester students are eligible to apply for internships. if u have done well in intern the company may offer u a PPO. moreover you can apply placements and on campus interviews start after 7th semester. highest package offered in electrical was 70lpa and average package is around 24 lpa in 2024. i may go for higher studies to a foreign university. average students getting placed was around 60% in electrical even after so much recession and offers getting revoked we got good placements in college

- Too Much Boundation On Entry And Exit For Students (As An Highly Armed Area, Army Protects Us).
- Due To Less No. Of Students Competition Is Reaching it's Peak.

Due To Recession, Every College Is Facing A Problem Of placements and jobs. Despite Of This, due To Our Faculties Good Ties With Companies, We Are Able To Have Good Placements In Comparison To Other Colleges. Highest Placement From Our College Was 54 Lacks In C.S Department And the minimum was 6.5 Lacks In The Civil Department. Average Percentage Of Students Getting Placements Is Around Is 85%. My Plan Is Give IES Exam After Getting The Degree.

- High steep distance between hostels and academic building

For placement the students of 7th and 8th semester are eligible. Certain companies like TCS, Microsoft, Mahindra, Flipkart etc have taken students. Nearly 80 percent students usually get placement. However I plan to pursue higher studies after graduation.

- Diversity in Students and interaction with professor. The Campus Is currently Small but beautiful.
- The behavioral of seniors and Supporting Staff is really good except some people

- Course curriculum is little bit oriented toward Mix Subject of EE and EC
- Some weather Is really cold or some time its get very hot in summer

If you have required skills for placement to you can get an offer from your 7th semster but you have to fullfill your credits requirements of the course. For Placements many companies are Visited to IIt Jammu you can check it on iit Jammu website, mainly tech companies like infosys, TCS, Samson, Paytm and many more tech giant visited for campus placement. Core companies like nvidia, quallcom also visited for campus placements. For no. Of offer I don't remember the exact no. You can check on iit Jammu website it is around 100-150. The highest is in range of 44-50 lakhs and lowest around 3-4 lakhs. Around 85% students are got placed some students go for higher studies, some go for MBA according to their Intrest. I definitey try for campus Placement.

- It is the fastest growing iit. Due to less strength and High growth rate, lots of opportunities for students in every field either it is sports or academics.
- Campus is extending day by day new building and infrastructure is developed.hightech and lastest technology is used inside the new campus.
Dislikes
- Campus area is less nowadays but it extends in next 1 or 2 year.
- Sports facilities are good but not like the iit standard . Ground is small and common ground for many sports

Placement are very very good. In year 2022, 85 % students are placed in campus placement with average package of 15 lpa. 15 % who are not placed have some other plans like High studies or upsc or many more competitive exams. All Major big companies was arrived for placements

- good hostal facilities, good holiday locations and plenty of restaurant food
- met amazing people and made new friends, they helped and shaped the person I am today.
Dislikes
- Not Good sports Facilities could be better could have a indoor badminton stadium.
- The student body has minimal power and disciplinary action are applied quite often.

we are eligible to sit in campus placements from 7th semester till the completion of degree(8th sem) significant no of companies visited but mostly the recruitment process was done online a very few of them had oncampus interviews. a few MNCs , multiple stratups and about 100-120 compnies listed for this year's recruitment. Due to recession this year's placement is not as much as the last year. year 2024 passing Batch Highest Packege - 55 Lac

- The placement is good . There are many companies which come here

- The rules are strict here compared to any other IIT
- The campus is small as compared to other colleges . But new section is under construction
