- The scenes and the location of the college is very beautiful.
- Good hostal facilities, good holiday locations and plenty of restaurant food
Dislikes
- It gets extremely cold as temperature drops to 3 in winter and in summer it rises to 40
- 70% attendance policy is very harsh as it is very cold here

Placement Experience:
The highest package of our college till now is 52 lakhs. Students may apply for placements in 6 sem. Top recruiting companies are Byjus,HUL, Tata Motors etc. Around 70 percent students get placed through campus placements.

- There is Mentorship Program For Freshers so that can know the culture of campus
- There are various clubs for overall development of students like coding, robotics ,cultural ,arts

- Old pattern course that cannot fulfill future demands of skills required

There is about 35% students placed . around 230 job offers . everage package :- 17.6 LPA highest package :- 53LPA i qm thinking to go abroar for my higher studies. this year microsoft has offered internship in our college .. i am trying for the same .

- Food of IIT Jammu mess is good and they maintain hygiene.
- Environment of IIT Jammu is good and we can see the mountain of mata vaishno temple from IIT Jammu.

- Attandance is mandatory minimum 70 percent.

If you are 7th or 8th semester then you can eligible for campus placements. For placement many company visited in IIT Jammu like Infosys,TCS, Paytm, Amazon , Samson. Highest package at IIT Jammu is 53 LPA , and average package at IIT Jammu is 17.6 LPA . Placement percentage is 85% students get placed. After getting degree i will get placed and doing my work.

- Small campus with less students and average campus life

Placements here are good. Average package is 18lpa in 2023 and highest is 53lpa. Cse and EE have very good placements and other departments are decent. Students also get internshipsfrom 3rd year. Faculty also provide opportunities

- There is less interaction between students themselves
- The restrictions inside the hostel and the extra charges for anything

By the end of 5 or 6 th semester student are eligible for the placements that means from the 3rd Year onwards students are eligible for the placements. Many named company visites our campus in the regular placements sessions

- College is just in nature, no pollution ,no rushes and beautiful sky.
- TA ( teaching assistants) are very polite and humble.

- Management in hosting fests, programs are not that top notch.

right after the 5th semester students are eligible to apply for internships. if u have done well in intern the company may offer u a PPO. moreover you can apply placements and on campus interviews start after 7th semester. highest package offered in electrical was 70lpa and average package is around 24 lpa in 2024. i may go for higher studies to a foreign university. average students getting placed was around 60% in electrical even after so much recession and offers getting revoked we got good placements in college

Curriculum is designed to cater the department perspective ,all important courses related to departments are added to degree ,teaching methods are equally good .Exams are mainly 2 class test one after and before mid-semester then end sememster at last.difficulty is moderate

- Actually I Like The Environment Here. As A Nature Loving Guy Who Always Wants To Be Close With Nature Or Those Who Wants The Same Can Surely Join This College.
- College Is Made Up Of German Technique By Made In India Engineers. College Theme Is Mountainous.
Dislikes
- Too Much Boundation On Entry And Exit For Students (As An Highly Armed Area, Army Protects Us).
- Due To Less No. Of Students Competition Is Reaching it's Peak.
Placement Experience:
Due To Recession, Every College Is Facing A Problem Of placements and jobs. Despite Of This, due To Our Faculties Good Ties With Companies, We Are Able To Have Good Placements In Comparison To Other Colleges. Highest Placement From Our College Was 54 Lacks In C.S Department And the minimum was 6.5 Lacks In The Civil Department. Average Percentage Of Students Getting Placements Is Around Is 85%. My Plan Is Give IES Exam After Getting The Degree.

- Hostel services are well off and cheap including washing machines hot water heaters

- Mandatory attendance policy of 70 percentage
- High steep distance between hostels and academic building
Placement Experience:
For placement the students of 7th and 8th semester are eligible. Certain companies like TCS, Microsoft, Mahindra, Flipkart etc have taken students. Nearly 80 percent students usually get placement. However I plan to pursue higher studies after graduation.
