Besides this, a large number of print journals, magazines, newspapers, periodicals, encyclopedias, reference books, and research publications are available at the institute library. MIET Library has a total of 35,992 books, 48 journals, 35 national journals & 25 international journals.
- Laboratories: There is a modern laboratory setup with an entire laboratory block that houses specific laboratories catering to the Electronics and Communication and Electrical Engineering field. The Workshop spread over 650 sq. includes different shops equipped with modern machines and tools
- Computing facilities: The institute offers state-of-the-art computing facilities through specialized computer labs housing over 500 networked computers. The entire campus has high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. Specialized laboratories include the IBM Software Centre of Excellence, Mobile Computing Lab, Centre for Software Development, Advanced Database Systems Lab, and Simulation Lab.

- Cafeteria: What you eat is what you are!!! The MIET cafeteria is a unique experience set amidst lush green foliage with huts made out of eco-friendly and bio-degradable natural long grass. Highly acclaimed by students it offers hygienic and quality food. Apart from the canteen food kiosks are also set up at multiple places to meet student’s requirements.
- Common Room: Students can avail the facilities of the common room to refresh themselves from their rigorous class work by participating in various indoor sports options and TV offered in the room.
- Transport: College provides bus service for the convenience of the students coming from many localities in and on the periphery of Jammu City. Students are advised to check up with the administrative office at the time of admission/registration/new session, for availing the transport facilities.
- Dispensary: There is a well-equipped dispensary in college manned by a registered medical practitioner that provides free First-Aid treatment.
- Group Insurance: All the students are covered under the group accidental insurance for Rs. 1,00,000 (One Lakh) and Medical insurance including hospitalization expenses of up to Rs. 10,000.

The eligible criteria is that you have to register in JKCET exams and from their you get seats for the college admission . I don't know about other courses other than engineering. 12th class merit also works in the admission process.

The admission process is based on the Merits on 12th and according tro your progress in 12th .The elegibity is to provide all the certificates with 10+2 marksheet with 50 %marks in 12th . Its a very easy process .
Likes
- one of the things i like about my college is the vibrant student and teachers community
- support from the teachers that makes college experience truly enjoyable.
Dislikes
- far away from home and limited availability of car parking
- slow wi-fi and having poor internet connection

the admission process is easy first of all you should have more than 66% marks and after that you have to fill the college admission form then they will provide you an overview of the campus and college details

- The faculty members are supportive and the overall enivronment of miet is impressive and the best sport in the town. i felt that in every classroom has air conditioner
- serniors are very supportive and the campus life is good

- distance is far away from my house . so i put this on dislike option
- there are more number of classes as compare to other department
Admission:
eligibility for taking BCA is that you need to marks above 65% in 12th so that you can eligible for this course . Application fees is RS 1500 then after submitting that amount directly we pay the overall course fee

- there is not eligibility for the courses anyone can pursue any courses
- there is no reservation seats in the college
Admission:
this is the best and easiest admission process i ever seen. you can process your admission through the college website or you can also visit the college for the admission. the way of talking and behaving of the college facility was awsome.
Likes
- My overall experience in this college is good , the campus , the staff . classmates all are well in their behaviour. The teaching staff is all good , the studying is overall better.
- The campus and the facilities they provide to the students , the teaching staff and the courses they provide for the development of students are well.
Dislikes
- The eligibility criteria for the admission of the students should be fixed as 50% and 90% scored students both are given admission in the college.
- The hours for the classes are too long i.e, from morning to evening which makes it hard to concentrate in all of the classes.
Admission:
The eligibility for taking the admission here is dependant on the percentage of the students in high school. The form, fees structure , dates everything is available in the office. There are no reservation benefits for the students.

Review of model Institute of engineering and technology, Miet Model Institute of engineering and technology offers a diverse range of courses, including the one I am pursuing BBALLB honours the CONVENIENCE of online registration for both registration and admissions is a plus with a reasonable registration fee of ?1400 academic structure includes exam held twice per semester, ensuring a balanced assessment throughout the term how Miet could benefit from improving its advertising efforts across various mediums to reach a wide audience. Additionally, while registration can be done online, full admission seems to require as in person process, which might inconvenience some, prospective students Overall Miet provides a solid educational experience, but there is a room for improvement in terms of marketing strategies and streamline the admission process for prospective students

- Limited Extracurricular Opportunities: While the academic environment was strong, there were limited opportunities for extracurricular activities, which could have enriched the overall college experience.
- Placement Support: Although placement opportunities were available, the support provided by the college in terms of training and placement assistance could have been more robust.
Admission:
Eligibility of the course - Seats are increasing for freshers but at my time it was 180 seats and you can take direct admission or by their exam. You can find application form, application fess, and application dates on the college website. I don't know much about reservation benefits but you can get scholarship from college according to your percentage. Exams difficulty is decent and frequency and timing is also always good. I think they are doing well with the admission process.

I got direct admission to this college through the management quota and the application form is filled itself by college.I like the way they treated me. Good admission management. There are 2 times exams in one sem i.e sem and final sam

- Limited Extracurricular Activities: One aspect I disliked about MIET was the limited availability of extracurricular activities
- Lack of Student Support Services: Another drawback was the insufficient provision of student support services.
Admission:

Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) does not offer the BPEd course. Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) offers the B.Tech, BBA (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), BA (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.), BCA (Hons.), LLB (Hons), BBA BFSI (Hons.) courses at the undergraduate level and the MBA, MCA and M.Tech courses at the postgraduate level.
you need to have passed 12th with 45% or more to be eligible and then appear for entrance exam viz. JEE/JKCET/JUET/CUET/CAT/MAT/JK BOPEE to get admission.
MIET Jammu does not offer LLB to the students. The institute offers BBA LLB to students in the field of Law. The total fee of the course is INR 3.79 lacs. The per-year fee is INR 75,850.
