IIT Jodhpur Cutoff 2024 has been released by JoSAA for various B.Tech courses. IIT Jodhpur JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 for CSE is 2062 to 2798 (Round 1) for general category students. 2062 is the opening rank and 2798 is the closing rank under Round 1 for CSE. This year JoSAA will release cutoffs in five rounds for various courses offered by IIT Jodhpur based on JEE Advanced scores.

The campus is very beautiful and most of the people are talking each other.
Both languages are used to study ( end + hindi).

Dislikes

Many students do not eat the mess food .
I want to some extra companies visit this campus.

Admission:

I applied the other IITs and I not get other IIT. Because the admission process is based on the jee advanced marks and rank. JEE ADVANCED is toughest exam of the world but I clear this exam and got iit jodhpur.

IIT Jodhpur - Good or Bad?

I liked the culture of the college like how seniors interact with juniors.
The best things about the college is hostel, you are given a single occupancy room with air conditioner.

The thing I dislike the most is that the campus is around 24 km far from the main city which takes an hour to reach in the main city.
There are only two mess in the campus with three floors each but when there is rush it take around 20 min to get the food we have to for a long time in the mess.

I applied colleges for like IIT Delhi, Madras , Bombay , Kharagpur , Kanpur , Roorkee , Guwahati , BHU bt I didn't get the branch I like cause I didn't want the lower branches . So then I got mechanical engineering in IIT Jodhpur. I got the colleges but the lower branches like metallurgy and bioengineering . I gave JEE Advanced for IITs . I came in this college through Josaa councelling . Eligibilty Criteria- Should have 75% marks in class 12 for general and OBC. Should have at least 65% in class 12 for SC , ST and PWD. Should qualify Jee Main and Advanced both. If your marks in JEE advanced is around 120 you can get admission in IITs but the cut off changes every year.

IIT Jodhpur the pride of Rajasthan

College culture is very good. Good junior and senior relation and hierarchy.
Campus life is fantastic as there are so many club and boards where one with any type of interest can join and enjoy their companies.

Academics is very hectic as so much classes and lab are there. also branches like electrical Cse have very hard courses.
Short of coaches are there for some sport are there

After getting result of Jee advance I applied for JOSSA round where i filled a alot of prefrence but main prefrence was IIT bomay Civil IIT Roorkee Mechanical IIT Patna CSE IIT jodhpur AIDS but at choose iit jodhpur as i want to take Computer scince as it groeth and market demand. Admission process is simple, after getting JEE advancev result just apply for JOSSA and fill your prefrence and then wait for Allotment result for 6 rounds. After 6 round visit you alloted college and submit your documents and fees.

Why Second Gen IITs are better even than First gen NITs?

Campus is so beautiful. Infrastructure is awesome
Each student having well furnished single hostel room With AC having no electricity charges

Only disliked that we cannot visit girls hostel
Girls ratio to boys is very low .. also girls are not so beautiful

I also applied to NITJ Btech EE but after that I got admission in IITJ BS Chemistry. i took IITJ over NITJ because IITs have high legacy and institutional reputation in the market and it helps in placement..also IITJ has higher average placement than NITJ

Campus is big. There are so many fest. They are so many clubs.

I like everything except the director of institute he changed many good policies

My college give admission on the basis of JEE Advance result and I can get this college cse was best for me according to my rank so It is what it is. And talking about admission for my college it is an IIT so you can join on basis of JEE Advance rank

The amount of various opportunities that are available here for our personality development
The Freedom given to us to explore around the campus and also we can go anytime outside the campus

The Food provided in the college mess is very unhygenic
The 75% attendance criteria which gives us no time to do internships.

I did not apply to any other college other than this. I Choose this college because of its wonderful insulated infrastructure and the campus culture that is followed by the students inside this campus. I didnot get any rejection from other colleges as i didnot apply for any of them. The admission process of our college is , as this is an INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, it follows a fixed procedure that is being followed since some years, which Firstly, we have to write JEE MAINS which is a multiple choice exam for 300 marks , 100 for maths physics and chemistry each. if we get a good percentile enough according to our category we will be qualified to JEE ADVANCED, we can give 2 attempts for mains , and for ADVANCED we will have to give 2 papers one in the morning and the other in the noon, if we manage to clear the advanced as well we will have a counselling process which lasts for a period of 1 month and In that we will get to know our college

Knowing Msc physics of iit jodhpur

Single occupancy rooms were provided in the hostels. Rooms were ac fitted and new and clean. Alnost Every student got hostel rooms.
The course structure was student friendly. You get a lot of options to choose from while taking or enrolling for a course.

The weather of the state is a little too dry and warm which was difficult to adjust with.
Mess food could be improved further by including more variety of food

Eligibility of the course is bsc with above 60% and qualified IIT JAM physics exam with marks above the cutoff of your institute. The application process was all online and easy. I got obc benifit in my cutoff but it was not very significant. The exam IIT JAM is conducted once every year and the difficulty level is medium to hard. Admission process can be improved by verification of documents in a disciplined manner. Ours was done very randomly

IITJ Overview

After having visited another college's hostels I find IITJ's hostel to be the best among them it provides you with fully air conditioned single rooms.
Overall campus is very clean and hostels are regularly being cleaned to ensure students safety and hygiene.

Just like all the other college's the mess of IITJ is not good.Menu is repetitive and taste is also not satisfactory.
Though placement rate is increasing but as of now placement salary is not comparable to other IITs

Admission process was quite hectic and one area for improvement is college could provide all processes in one place so that students do not need to go from one office to another to fill form. And reservation benefits are as usual if you are from sc,st or obc you can get same branch with lower JEE Adv rank compared to general student Entrance exam for IITJ is Jee adv which is one of the toughest exam in the world you can give it only 2 times if you get fair enough rank you get selected in college.

Friendly environment. Having such a supportive and peaceful environment to grow and explore your areas of interest was the most beautiful thing i experienced
Hostels . From having separate room to air conditioning was most relieving in hot climate state of this institution

Foods . Sometimes foods are just too much annoying

Admission process was done through JEE MAINS AND JEE ADVANCED examinations. Almost 16 lakh had applied for jee mains and only 180000 qualified for jee advanced. We had to at least overcome the minimum cut offs and After that we were given counseling to choose our course, and then admission was given

Professors support ,Professors way of explaining things , the culture, infrastructure is the best part of the college
Air conditioned single room for every person.

Water facility in college , some kind of shortage is there.

Eligibility based on jee advanced ranks. Application form for jee advanced open after jee mains result. Reservation benefits include rank difference of marigin 3000-4000 from the general rank I guess. Difficulty level is quite hard Admission process is good
