IIT Jodhpur Courses Admission 2024: Cutoff, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

The 4 years, full-time IIT Jodhpur B.Tech. curriculum is available based on entrance exam results, and seats are assigned through counseling. Cutoffs are announced for a number of categories, depending on which candidates can apply for admission to IIT Jodhpur's B.Tech programme. 

IIT Jodhpur BTech Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have completed main coursework in math, physics, and chemistry as well as have a 10+2 diploma from an accredited board.

IIT Jodhpur BTech Selection Criteria

• JEE Advanced results are used to make the decision. JEE Main is only required as a prerequisite to take JEE Advanced.
• Candidates who pass the entrance exam will be invited to the Joint Seat Allocation Authority's (JoSSA) JEE Advanced Counseling session.

• The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in case of General/ OBC category and 55% for SC/ST/PD in aggregate

IIT Jodhpur M. Tech and Integrated M.Tech+Ph.D Selection Criteria

• GATE scores are used as the foundation for selection. 
• Before deciding on a seat and accepting an applicant, counseling will be provided.
• Also the COAP exam scores are used to grant admission for Mtech.

Admissions to M.Tech programmes must also register through COAP. On the official website, candidates submit online applications. Below are the eligibility requirements: 

• The applicants must have GATE eligibility and a BE/BTech degree with 6.5 cumulative grade point average (or 60% for general/unreserved category; 55% for reserved category).
• If the relevant institution does not reveal final scores, a provisional certificate is accepted. However, candidates need to submit their final results within the allotted time frame.
• GATE-qualified applicants will be given preference over those who apply using the prerequisite exam's qualifying scores.

Note: GATE qualified students must apply through the official website of CCMT to be considered for counseling and admissions.

IIT Jodhpur MBA Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and obtain an overall qualifying exam score of at least 60%.

IIT Jodhpur MBA Selection Criteria

The Admission process consists of two stages i.e CAT Score followed by a virtual interview. For admission to IIT Jodhpur MBA Fintech and Cyber security, the institute will also consider gender diversity.

IIT Jodhpur M.Sc Eligibility Criteria 

• In the case of the General/OBC category, the candidate must have received at least 55% of the possible points, and in the case of the SC/ST category, 50%.
• The candidate for the MSc in Digital Humanities programme must have earned a Bachelor's degree with at least 60% in the fields of basic sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

IIT Jodhpur M.Sc + MTech Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have done a Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years) in the relevant stream and have taken Math at 10+2 level.

Offering MBA dual degree programmes, IIT Jodhpur has partnered with some of the top business schools in the globe. The participants in this programme would receive a Master's degree from the partner B-School and an MBA from IIT Jodhpur. The first year of their MBA programme will be spent taking core courses at IIT Jodhpur, while the second year will be spent taking elective courses at one of the partner schools abroad.

The School of Management & Entrepreneurship (SME) at IIT Jodhpur now provides the following alternatives for obtaining a dual degree:

IIT Jodhpur MBA Dual Degree Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent awarded by any UGC recognized or deemed university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. 
• A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale. 
• A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e., min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e., min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST/DAP (Differently Abled Person) candidates.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.
• A valid CAT score.

IIT Jodhpur MBA Dual Degree Selection Criteria

The procedure of choosing candidates for the MBA Dual degree involves two steps. 

Step 1: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT scores, academic backgrounds, professional experiences, and noteworthy extracurricular accomplishments.

Step 2: The Composite Merit List (CML), created by the institute, will be used to determine the final selection. 

Note: Candidates with a CAT entrance exam score of 98 percent or more are eligible for direct admission to the institute.

IIT Jodhpur PhD Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have earned a Master's degree in one of the following fields: pharmacy, science, humanities, engineering, agricultural science, social sciences, etc. with at least 60% in the GEN/OBC/GEN-EWS and 55% in the SC/ST/PD categories.

Or

The candidate must have earned at least 60% for the GEN/OBC/GEN-EWS categories and 55% for the SC/ST/PD categories in their respective MBBS with MS or MD, BDS with MDS, or BVSc with MVSc degrees.

Or

The applicant must have earned a bachelor's degree in science, pharmacy, engineering, veterinary science, agricultural science, or medicine with at least 65% in the SC/ST/PD categories and at least 70% in the GEN/OBC/GEN-EWS categories.

IIT Jodhpur PhD Selection Criteria

• The Institute will conduct a written test and interview to determine who will enroll in this programme. 
• The Institute will thereafter make a list of qualified candidates public.
• Students who have completed the GATE, UGC-NET, JRF, or SLET are eligible to apply and attend the interview in person. 
• Additionally, these students will not be required to take the internal exam.
