- College culture is very good. Good junior and senior relation and hierarchy.
- Campus life is fantastic as there are so many club and boards where one with any type of interest can join and enjoy their companies.
Dislikes
- Academics is very hectic as so much classes and lab are there. also branches like electrical Cse have very hard courses.
- Short of coaches are there for some sport are there
Course Curriculum Overview :
IIT jodhpur is good known for its AI course so I course AI course here as the professors in Computer Science departmet is very good. Courses here are new and updated course related to new market so ciurriculum here help in real world a lo. There should be improvement in grading system and some new courses should be added rwlation to finance and management. Quizes should be less in number and more numbers of assigment and project should be given instead.
Internships Opportunities :
Intership is started at begining of 5th semester. Many companies come for on campus internship program majorily: Google Pattern IBY Amazon Stipend ranges from 10000 to 150000. Getting internship is somewhat difficult as many people can shortlist due to less CGPA but most of them take off campus internship.
Placement Experience :
After completing 6 semester student are eligible for placement. Alots of companies visit majorily are Google microsoft BNY hyundai TCS salesforce flipkart,etc. Highest package- 53 lakh Average- 20 lakh about 90% of student placed from Btech. My paln is to go for placement and then ater 2 3 years of experiece go for MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee per semester(half year): Tution Fee - 100000 semester fee - 27250 Mess fee - 19000 Admission fee- 3800 (at time of admission only). Institute charge - 8000 (at time of admission only) Scholarships: For SC/ST and students with a family income of less than 1 lakh - no tution fee For students with a family income between 1-5 lakh - 1/3rd of the tution fee i.e 33333
Campus Life :
Sports fest- Varchas( mid October) Technical fest - Prometeo( January) Cultural fest - Ignus ( Late Feb) The library is good but books are fewer in numbers Classrooms are high tech modern with green boards and projectors. so many clubs are there which are operated by students themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
Single AC room are alloted to every students with a chair table bes and almirah is given. Food in mess is very good with 4 days non veg menu.4 time meal is provided. hostelare alloed at time of admission and fees is as follow: 19000 per sem for mess 27500 per sem for hostel (Laundary and electricity is included)
Admission :
After getting result of Jee advance I applied for JOSSA round where i filled a alot of prefrence but main prefrence was IIT bomay Civil IIT Roorkee Mechanical IIT Patna CSE IIT jodhpur AIDS but at choose iit jodhpur as i want to take Computer scince as it groeth and market demand. Admission process is simple, after getting JEE advancev result just apply for JOSSA and fill your prefrence and then wait for Allotment result for 6 rounds. After 6 round visit you alloted college and submit your documents and fees.
Faculty :
faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20. faculty-student relationship is good but faculties are somewhat strict and also very cooperative. The grading system of professors is not so good as they use to give C i.e 6 points on average marks which makes a bad SGPA. Vimal Raj Sharma who teaches Maths for Computing and Himanshu Kumar who teaches Signal and Systems are good professors as they teach very well and are also very cooperative. Exams are as follows: Minor- about 20-30% weightage occurs once in mid sem(Easy) Major- about 40-50% weightage occurs at end of the semester(Hard) about 5 % students fail in exams having grade E or F
