- The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
- Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .

- Getting no leaves for preparation between exams is the worst thing happening here

Campus placements do happen at full throttle every year. We do have a body called career development centre to ensure every pass out student gets placed. Many topics companies in every field visit the campus every year that too with a median package of 20 lakh per annum.

after 5th semester Students are eligible for campus placement. More than 700 offers Including PPO they are secured by the institute's estimate participating companies exceeding 61 in number represented a wide range of profiles including software analytics finance ranking consulting and core engineering notable names among the regulators where Apple, Microsoft, Mckinsey Quantbox ,square point, Capital One, Da Vinci , tsm, Air bus,EXL services and DE Shaw etc.. Notably the iit Kharagpur Placement Drive 2020 3 showcased a remarkable highest package of INR 2.68 crores per annum, An average CTC of inr 22.17 lakh per annum and a median city sea of inr 21 .04 lakh per annum.My plan is after getting the degree is doing job for some years wile preparing for UPSC

Our college provides placements to fourth years as well fifth year students, phd and Mtech students this year due to recesion no. of companies visited have decreased to 216 from 250, but still the student got placed with approximately 1350 offers to 1277 students.

Our college provides good placements students can do internship from whichever year they want but in 5th sem its compulsory to do internship and by the end of 4th year you will be placed in a good company this year due to recession number of companies visted has decreased but still there were good offers 1353 offers to 1277 students highest offer was given to cs student averahe package was approx 21 lpa

Students are open to on campus internships and placements from their prefinal year itself. Many companies such as Deloitte, accenture, BCG, american express, amzon Microsoft etc. Companies visit the campus. Almost all students get placed. I have not yet thought of my plan after degree.

placement of the college is excellent. With an average package of 19LPA, there is a good chance of you getting a placement. The highest packages even go as high as 2.7 Cr. Internships and pre-placement offers are also excellent.

From the 7th semester, you are eligible for placement. For more info on placement, you can visit the official website of IIT kgp. There are around 300+ companies for placement. Around 90%+ students get placement. I wanna preparation for UPSC after engineering.
Remarks:
Huge and influential almuni network(e.g. Sundar Pichai, Arvind Kejriwal, Vinod Gupta etc.). The oldest IIT. Talked to working professionals and realised the vast benefits of studying from an old IIT.
Remarks:
Kharagpur is a town and there is not much to see in the campus. Nearest metropolitan city is kolkata and it takes 4-5 hours to reach there. College has lush green environment and is pollution free. Infrastructure is not on the level of other IIT's.
