Everything is fine and very nice. Initially things are so easy so we don't have to take so much of stress later the things are not very easy to catch but we have our faculties to help out whenever we are in trouble.

Because I want to get enrolled in first tier IIT college and I had only this option. Faculty:student ratio is 1:20 Faculties are either from top IITs or top foriegn universities.Teaching methodology of all faculty members are best except few. Two semester exams(mid semester and end semester) held in the period of four months.Exams are not much difficult to pass.

Based on my rank this was the best college and department which I was getting. Also I am from jharkhand so there is huge scope of mining engineers in home state itself. Stodent is to faculty ratio is 20:1. The proffesors are so helpfull, they take your doubts positively and explain anything which is relevant. Most of the professors are iit graduates and done phd from iits, so no doubt about their qualifications. 2 exams are conducted in 1 semester that is 6 months. One mid-semester and other end-sem. The end-sem has higher weightage than mid sem. End is more tough than mid sem.The exams will be fully related to the slides and presentations taught by proffesors in classroom. Aprt from these two major exams many class test also take place time to time.

i chose IIT kharagpur mining branch because I always want to take admitted in iit kharagpur. Branch doesn't matter to me so i prefer college over a branch all the faculties of iit kharagpur are best te are well educated in their respective course. In each semester there are two exams held first Mid-semester exam which has weightage 30% and last is End semester exam which has weightage 50%.and these are relative and not much difficult to pass

It is a course that is rare in terms of the sheer volume present in the whole nation of colleges. IIT KHARAGPUR is a premier institution and thus it offers a plethora of opportunities for the course takers. Faculties are fantastic since they are experienced in the field itself.

The course curriculum is great and designed for students such that they can easily learn and adapt feom mugging environment to understanding environment. The faculties are also highly educated and each has his/her own way kf teaching and engaging with students. The term exams has to be difficult because it grades you but with enough studies i think anyone can clear them easily.

I had JEE MAIN rank 17k and JEE ADVANCED Rank 9k. So, I could have got some good NITs but choosing IIT Kharagpur was the best idea for my case since it has a much better peer group and coding culture. The faculty is awesome here the student to faculty ratio is 1:180 in first year but it would eventually decrease in subsequent years. The faculty is world class in matters of knowledge and of course they have their PHDs in terms of degree. Even out teaching assistants are PHD scholars.

Indian Mining industry is increasing its market acquisition in the global market as there are many targeted elements are getting in different parts of the country, that's why I chose it. The faculty is excellent and experienced. Most of them have done Ph.D.s in their field. and their teaching methods are also unique. in IIT KHARAGPUR. There are two terms in a year. Two-time exams and two-time class tests happen in a semester. First mid mid-semester our mid-semester happened in 18 to 26 September and the end semester in November 16 to 26. And class tests happen according to the choices of faculties.
First of all you need to lose this ideology that mechanical has more scope and mining has less scope. Every field has top notch research going in it and provides dynamic and challenging work opportunities.
I also had the same dilemma and I chose Mining at IIT Kharagpur over other departments for to following reasons:-
