Course Curriculum Overview :

i chose IIT kharagpur mining branch because I always want to take admitted in iit kharagpur. Branch doesn't matter to me so i prefer college over a branch all the faculties of iit kharagpur are best te are well educated in their respective course. In each semester there are two exams held first Mid-semester exam which has weightage 30% and last is End semester exam which has weightage 50%.and these are relative and not much difficult to pass

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

here more than 200 companies come for giving the opportunities of internship including big cpompany like GOOGLE AMAZON SAMSUNG etc here is many projects are running on differnt subjects in which you can join by contacting to the respective professor

Placement Experience :

here all are eligible for the campus in its final year and campus internship are started from the 3rd year some students get internship in the 2nd year outside the campus the highest package of iit kgp is 2.68cr and the median pakage is about 18lakh depend on differnt branch and skill you willl get the placement 80-90% students are getting placed in the campus my plans is after degree is to do the job for 3 years after that soing mba from top college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

ther is the smester fees for each semester there is 1,00,000 tution fees and 45,000 hostel, mess and other management fees there is fee wavier also in the IIT for the income less than 1laks 100% tution fee wavier and for the income less than 5lakh 67% fee wavier also in IIT KGP there is MCM scholarship

Campus Life :

the campus life of IIT KGP is one of the best life it cover the area over 2200 acres which gave a very large area to enjoy the campus life there is many sports ground and auditorium and also there is a lake here is the asia's largest digital library ' here is a classroom complex names as nalanda complex which is very big here is the culture of inter iit competition also GC and many more sports competition here is lots of club related to different need like business club, drama club, robotics club and many more

Hostel Facilities :

here are more than 20 hostels in the campus itself which has proper facility different hostels have different messes and different mode of sharing of room some hav single some have dual sharing and some have triple sharing outside the campus there is not any hostel or pg which you can rented you have to take hoste inside the campus the food of hostels are average

Hostel Fee : INR 72000 per year

Admission :

for the admission in iit kharagpur first you have to give the JEE MAINS and qualify it for qualification in jee mains you have to score 90%ile for general category for other category there is other cutoff percentile the application form of JEE MAINS is avialable in the nta website after qualification of JEE MAINS you have to apply for the JEE ADVANCE and the application form is avialable in its own website for general category you have to get under 10,000 rank to take admission in the IIT KHARAGPUR . for different category there is different ranks needed. also after the 2022 your board percentage also matter that should be above 75% or 75%ile in their respectuve board .

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.
