- Social clubs, provide you exposure, help you meet different people from your interest field.

- Technical clubs, the recruitment is test based process thus one who have prior knowledge gets admitted not the one who have interest. They need to learn on their own and then apply next year.
- Music section, they also don't teach but recruit to those who know to play.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements from IITs are the best. Some of the students get international packages in crores. 20LPA can be considered average. There are more than 1000 placement offers offered to the students. Student's in 4year BTech program sit for placements at the end of the 7th semester. Talking of highest package, 4.2Cr was offered by Quantbox to quant analyst. Other companies like De Shaw offer around 60Lpa. My plan is to get placed in one of the high paying company as a ML engineer. I am expecting somewhere between 50 to 60Lpa. At least 90percent students are placed on campus rest apply for off campus placements in search of more high package and few opt for UPSC.

- I liked the most is the campus environment which is fulfilled with floura and fauna.
- There are many clubs and there are lot of opportunities in many fields,if you want excell in any field there will be always doors open for you

- The most disliked thing is the food and it is not suitable for the south people
- The rooms are not good for the btech 1 St years ,there will be triple sharing in a small room
Placement Experience:
In IITs there are a lot of opportunities.The campus interviews will be going on in every year.There are lot of companies who visited of our campus and the highest package will be approx 1.5 cr onsite offer,Max students will get placed in campus placements ant the rest will go for higher studies,my plans after degree is to do a good job

- i liked the enthusiasm of students towards any work here, positive environment and night's life
- faculty is average for all the courses, some are very good to teaching and behaviour and here a cell called PIC cell it works for manage the placements maximum students got placed
Dislikes
- here are some problem with rules like 75% rule of attendance which is not good though for college students
- some faculty are not good towards it give grade to his courses and i don't like PIC cell give chance to company who provide less than 10 LPA in our college
Course Curriculum Overview:
i am in metallurgy it teachs us for metal, composite, etc's behaviors it helps space shuttle to use best materials. collab with ai and drdo and in our college we have 2 exams per semster and its good for students

- The vibe around and inside the college is amazing . I like the competition around.
- The clubs are life of IIT ROorkee with having all types of interest in it.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The corriculum is old schooled. Basically the couse till our year does not include many modern technical cources. The bathch lower than ours have new education policy thus better cources for the current situation.

- Campus ,Lecture hall building ,its beautiful
- People in the campus, Campus groups and heads

- Dogs they may bite ,very scare to walk alone
- Accomodation roms are not furnished well
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are good .we do cross the 1 Crore package every year although not much are in that zone . But yeah the average package of each department is nice and decent.more than 75% get placed in the placement season.I may opt for further studies

- I liked the sports .like cricket and volleyball which I majorly play are the best.
- The cultural events in the college are the craziest and exciting ones.
Dislikes
- Not many things I disliked here , it is okay everything.
Placement Experience:
The students here get interns from 3rd yr and the college supports us in the atmost level and they get interns little tougher level,but many students tend to get it.they get PPO and placements from 4th year beginning it is almost 90% here of the successful placements.

- Yah i like all the things in the IIT especially the fests of our college i.e. cognizance and thomso(North India's biggest technical and cultural fest)
- Second thing which i liked is the freedom which we get here. When i talk to my friends who are in other private college they say that there are many kinds restriction but in IIT there is very less restriction. We are free to go outside campus 24X7.
Dislikes
- The first thing which i didn't like here is the academic pressure. Since in IIT all students are the topper of their college or school so there is a very tough competition which builds an unnecessary pressure on the student.
- Second thing which i didn't like is that there is culture in IIT Roorkee is that you have to call your senior by sir or mam.
Placement Experience:
As you know IIT's are know for their internships and placements only. So no doubt they offer a very good package t the students but the thing is that you have to work hard to grab those packages. It is also said that once you get into any IIT then sky is the limit. So, yah the placements of our college is very good ignoring the recent recession period...

- i like the college life it make us responsible adult and gives us lot of freedom

- i dislike that our hostel are way too old and our placement percentage is way less when compared to other IIT's

the plaments are good. like around 70-80 percentage students get placed everey year.the highest placement offer would be around 1 cr. from 7th semeter a student can participate in the placemnet season, every campany may have different CG criteria. after my degree i want to do job for 2 years and then i want to study abroad.
