The Uttarakhand State Legislature established Quantum University through the Quantum University Act 2016 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. It is recognized by UGC and BCI. The university is also approved by PCI. It provides various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in the fields of Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Media Studies & Design, Commerce & Finance, Science, Humanities & Social Science, Agricultural Studies, Health Sciences and Hospitality & Tourism and Law. The university has 8 schools to provide higher education in different fields. Admission to Quantum University is entrance and merit-based. Quantum University Admission 2024
Quantum University Admission 2024 is ongoing. Students can also apply for the Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Exam (Q-Care) to avail of various scholarships. The university offers both online and offline modes of application. Candidates can apply online or download the application form from the official website. Candidates also have a choice to visit the university campus/office and obtain the form by depositing DD for application fees.
Quantum University Online Application Process 2024

Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Exam (Q-Care) 2024

The duration of the exam is one hour and students can choose their preferred date and time as per their convenience. The exam is held in online mode only. Quantum University Campus
Quantum University has a beautiful campus surrounded by greenery located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. The institute has separate hostels for boys and girls. The university conducts sports events like Qualympics, where students residing on campus are divided into various houses and have to compete against each other. Another event conducted by the institute is Udaan, which is an inter-collegiate event that takes place once a year and teams from various colleges take part in this with full enthusiasm and vigour. Sports facilities like Lawn Tennis, Cricket, Basket Ball, Volleyball, Fitness Centre, Football and Badminton are available on the campus. Q-Cafe, the cafeteria is open every day and offers a variety of drinks and snacks between scheduled meals. The menu is changed every 15 days by the student committee along with its faculty members. Ans. Quantum University is located on Mandawar (22 Km milestone), Roorkee - Dehradun Highway (NH 73), Uttarakhand. Students and parents can reach the institute by road, by train or by flight. As the university is located on a national highway, it is easily accessible by car through a network of national highways from Delhi, Dehradun, Haridwar, Saharanpur, Ambala, etc. The nearest airport to Roorkee is Dehradun's Jolly Grant airport which has regular flight services from New Delhi. However, the easiest way to reach the campus is by train as four major railway stations are situated nearby. The high-speed trains like Delhi-Shatabdi and Jan-Shatabti also stop at Roorkee. - Though officially 75% is minimum attendance criteria alike many Universities but here the final cutoff usually comes around 65-70% with 5% extra waiver for Medical reasons.

- Weather is not very much as you expect in Uttarakhand especially in summers where temperature exceeds 40 quite usually.
- There are no AC's in Classes & Labs which becomes unbearable in summers.

Admission process is very hassle free if you are doin it in July-August. You are choses usually on the base of 12th marks & Qcare for scholarships purposes. Since i am a Geneeral I have no idea about reservations. End sem Exams are held after compoletion of Semester with two Mid-semester exams in between the year.

Yes, Quantum University, Roorkee offers the PhD in Commerce. Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute. Academic Requirement:-
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology/ Computer Science (IT). At least 50% marks in the above three subjects taken together. The Candidate must have passed English as a subject in 10+2 Examination. Merit in University Entrance Exam(Q-CARE), IITJEE (Mains), State Level Entrance Exams shall be given preference.
You need to clear either JEE Mains or State Level Entrance Examination for taking admission to B.Tech. Cyber Security.
